CUSTOM COVERAGE

Need a little encouragement to get a new sled or additional accessores? Custom Coverage is now available. What is Custom coverage you ask? It’s a program that gives you more time to decide, what kind of glitter will look good on you sled. Owners of new, previously untitled 2006 and newer model year Harley-Davidson® motorcycles sold and delivered to a retail customer will have a 60-day timeframe (following the motorcycle retail sale date) to purchase and have installed eligible parts and accessories on their motorcycle.

The eligible parts and accessories sold and installed by the selling Harley-Davidson will receive the Harley-Davidson Limited Warranty for Street Legal Genuine Motor Parts and Genuine Motor.

Accessories for the remainder of the motorcycle’s limited 24-month manufacturer’s warranty.

EXAMPLE: An H-D motorcycle has a retail sale date of December 7, 2006. On January 6, 2007, the owner of the motorcycle purchases eligible parts and accessories from the dealer that sold the motorcycle, and has the same dealership install additional eligible parts and accessories under the terms of this program. These additional parts and accessories will be covered for the remaining 23 months of the new motorcycle warranty rather than the standard P&A “Over-the-Counter” 90-day warranty.

Eligible Product For parts and accessories to be eligible, they must be Street Legal Genuine Motor Parts and Motor Accessories that are sold and installed by the dealer that sold the Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Backordered parts and accessories that are not sold and installed during the 60-day window are not eligible for the extended warranty offer. Parts and accessories sold via the internet are not eligible for this program.

At the beginning of the 2007 model year, Harley-Davidson introduced its impressive new Twin Cam 96 motor for all new Big Twin models.

TC 110 (1,800 cc’s) For their next trick, H-D upped the ante with 4-inch bores and new forged pistons to bring displacement up to 110 cubic inch gusto. The intake valves are slightly larger, measuring in at 2.08 inches, and have an automatic compression release. Included in the new power plant are new heads, head gaskets, cases, 255 cams, and cylinder base o-ring. The touring models will be fitted with an oil cooler adapter to keep the TC 110 running cool during long trips. Rumor has it that the all-new TC 110 offers a whopping 13% increase over the Twin Cam 103. Don’t forget that the TC 96 started with a 17% increase in torque over the stock TC 88 – the TC 110 is GUSTO!!!

TC 103 (1,690 cc’s) This big bore kit jumps your TC 96 up to an incredible 103 cubic inches. The kit includes Stage II (SE-255) cams, Big Bore cylinders, Big Bore flat top pistons, clips and a Stage I Air Cleaner Kit with one-piece backplate, integral breathers, all mounting hardware, and gaskets. Also includes a high performance clutch spring and catalyst mufflers.

STRIKE-Shuts Down Harley-Davidson Plant!

The assembly line at Harley-Davidson's largest manufacturing plant remained idle Friday as nearly 2,800 union workers walked off the job.... Harley-Davidson is still on STRIKE. This "STRIKE" will limit Motorcycle availability and has already affected the delivery of some models across the country! At this time we at San Jose Harley-Davidson have 2007 models in stock and available, but we are anticipating side effects if the STRIKE continues! We would like to notify all of you who may be considering a new bike in the next few months to consider expediting your purchase to ensure that you have a great riding season, not a waiting season.
