In September, BMWOR will hold the second "Oregon Discovery Rally" in the Wallowa Mountains of Northeastern Oregon. Again, this event has been designed for dualsport riders, but it is not a brand specific rally; for example, in 2006 we had participants riding BMW GSs, KTMs, KLRs, and even a Honda TransAlp.

As with last year, we'll base the rally operations at a campground with access to water, but not necessarily showers or toilets. Once participants arrive, they can get settled and then spend the next two full days exploring dualsport riding in Northeastern Oregon, Western Idaho, and Southeastern Washington.

We'll provide a welcome reception on Sunday evening, then three more breakfasts and two more dinners. So, you'll want to make plans to have snacks and/or food for lunches while you're out riding.

The 2007 Oregon Discovery Rally camp headquarters will be disclosed in the coming months after a recon mission in June.

REGISTRATION

Registration is now open. Due to the nature of this rally, we will only have space for 25 participants. Registration is first come, first served. The cost for the rally will be $55 per person and can be paid in advance via check or credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS). Rally participants can begin arriving on Sunday afternoon, September 9th to stake their claim to the perfect campsite with teardown and departure taking place the morning of Wednesday, September 12th following breakfast.
