2005 Triumph Speedmaster $6,999.00,
12,920
miles,
Dark,
brooding
lines
and
a
stripped-down
hot-rod
essence
make
the
Speedmaster
a
standout
middleweight
cruiser.
But
more
can
sometimes
be
more.
And
while
the
lean
Speedmaster
retains
its
low-slung
and
nimble
street
prowler
chassis
it
now
has
more
low-down
torque
thanks
to
its
new
865cc,
air-cooled,
twin
cylinder
engine.
And
due
to
the
270-degree
firing-interval
each
power
pulse
from
each
piston
is
delivered
in
a
seamless,
languid
flow
that
hooks
the
fat
170-section
rear
tire
to
the
road.
The
flat
'drag'
style
handlebars,
double
front
discs
and
wide-set
telescopic
forks
ensure
a
sporty
and
controlled
ride.
As
well
as
flawless
function
the
Speedmaster
has
an
elegant
form
all
its
own.
A
satin-black
engine
finish
and
near-solid
15-inch
rear
wheel
add
to
the
show
and
whether
on
the
move
or
at
a
standstill
the
Speedmaster
turns
heads,
hard.
The
Speedmaster
has
the
edge.
It's
built
for
city
streets
and
twisting
roads
with
an
engine
that
inspires
and
a
chassis
that
excels.
Above
all
else
it's
been
built
to
perform.

2005 Triumph Rocket
III $12,999.00,
7,608
miles,
$3,000
of
Triumph
painted
parts,
$900
pipes
and
cat
eliminator.....seat,
comfort
bars,
grips,
and
lots
of
chrome.
This
bike
was
loved
and
money
was
spent!
Paint
is
very
hard
to
capture
in
photographs,
but
absolutely
stunning
in
person.
Just
a
few
short
years
ago
a
cruiser
with
the
sheer
performance
of
the
Rocket
III
would
have
been
an
impossible
daydream,
an
engineer's
'what
if.
.
.
The
Rocket
III
is
a
whirling,
mechanized
cyclone
of
power.
Its
three
fuel-injected
cylinders
displace
a
monstrous
2,294cc
and
pump
out
147lb-ft
of
torque.
That
amazing
output
is
fed
to
the
giant
240-section
rear
tire
via
a
five-speed
gearbox
and
shaft
drive,
while
the
massively
strong
steel
frame,
upside-down
forks
and
Daytona
955i
spec
four-piston
brake
calipers
elementally
contain
the
Rocket
III's
potential.
But
the
Rocket
III
is
in
possession
of
fine
balance.
Of
course
it
demands
respect
on
all
levels
but
it
remains
a
truly
useable
machine,
and
will
tour
highways,
cruise
streets
and
hustle
turns
with
effortless
ability.
The
Rocket
III
may
be
the
largest
capacity
production
motorcycle
in
the
world
but
it's
designed
to
be
ridden.
True
individuality
is
rare
and
the
Rocket
III
has
forever
defined
a
complete
generation
of
motorcycles.
Everything
about
it
is
special.
Its
muscular
performance,
stunning
looks,
attention
to
detail
and
monumental
presence
are
simply
unique.
Which
means
the
Rocket
III
isn't
just
a
special
motorcycle.
It's
a
truly
an
extraordinary
one.

Foothills
Racing
Wins!
The
MRA
held
its
first
race
of
the
2007
season
at
Pueblo
Motorsports
Race
Track
this
last
weekend
in
Colorado.
AND
WE
HAVE
GREAT
NEWS!
Due
to
class
regulations
(which
the
MRA
was
not
willing
to
flex)
the
BMW
Motorrad/Foothills
BMW
2007
R1200S
was
placed
in
the
Supertwins
GTO
class
up
against
the
Ducati
1098S,
999R,
998R
and
the
Aprilia
Mille
(all
150+
hp
machines).
There
was
also
a
Ducati
749
in
the
race
piloted
by
the
#1
plate
holder,
since
his
999R
had
blown
an
engine.
Brad
Hendry,
on
the
#616
BMW
R
1200
S
started
at
the
back
of
the
pack
(position
8)
having
not
run
in
the
class
last
year.
At
the
end
of
the
first
lap
he
had
passed
a
couple
of
the
slower
guys
and
was
up
to
6th
position....all
good
riders
in
front
of
him.
He
then
began
to
pick
away
positions,
one
by
one.
First,
the
Ducati
749,
then
on
the
next
lap,
a
999R.
The
total
race
was
7
laps
and
in
each
lap
Brad
managed
to
pass
a
competitive
rider.
The
front
group
of
six
guys
were
pretty
close
together,
and
when
Brad
was
finished
with
them
he
had
passed
two
Ducati
999Rs,
an
Aprilia
Mille,
and
a
Ducati
749
to
place
himself
in
a
strong
second.
On
the
white
flag
lap
Brad
passed
the
first
rider
on
a
Ducati
1098S,
three
corners
before
the
finish
line
and
held
him
off
to
take
the
checkered
flag!
This
was
a
great
close
race
and
the
people
in
the
stands
were
cheering
each
time
he
passed
somebody.
Brad
comments
“The
greater
horsepower
competitive
machines
would
pull
away
from
the
R1200S
on
the
VERY
long
back
and
front
straights,
but
the
R1200S
out-performed
them
in
the
infield.”
Brad
puts
his
success
down
to
the
superior
braking
of
the
R1200S
particularly
into
the
corners
and
then
the
great
torque
of
the
boxer
engine
on
exiting
the
corner.
Brad
exclaimed
at
the
end
of
the
race
“I
love
my
BMW!”
Needless
to
say
the
pits
were
buzzing
with
the
fact
that
the
heavier
boxer
had
beaten
the
higher
horsepower
and
heavily
touted
new
Ducati
1098S!
Also
present
at
the
race
were
33
BMW
riders
that
had
joined
the
Foothills
BMW
Motorcycles
sponsored
ride
down
to
Pueblo
to
witness
the
R1200S
in
it
first
competitive
race
here
in
Colorado…..

A
