So you have insurance for your motorcycle, but is the coverage adequate for your accessories and does your policy provide you replacement of damaged riding gear? Great questions that often don't have straight-forward answers. Swing by BMWOR, Tigard from 10am to 2pm and meet with Eric Lindberg of Country Insurance. He'll help you review your current policy and even generate a quote for you that may provide you with some great savings! May 20th: BMW Day at Portland International Raceway (PIR)

BMWOR will be present at PIR during "BMW Day" at PIR. Come to PIR and watch the races and check out several of BMW's sportier models. If you ride, you'll want to bring your gear and parade around the track during the mid-day break. If you're a little more adventuresome and you have full riding gear, you can get a "Taste of Racing" for $20. The fee covers 5 laps around that track and permits you to exercise the capabilities of your motorcycle.

She'll help you review your current policy and even generate a quote for you that may provide you with some great savings!

May 27th: Dirt Don't Hurt Dualsport Ride

Our annual spring dualsport ride, "Dirt Don't Hurt" will be a little further north this year so that customers from the Portland metro area can also participate.

We'll have one contingency leave from the southern end of the valley and another contingency leave from the northern end of the valley. Details about departure times and locations will appear on in the near future.

Eventually both groups will congregate at a turn out about .5 miles north of Moonshine Campground in the Oregon Coast Range. And in the spirit of last year, BMWOR will be grilling and serving some food from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

June 2nd: Women's Day at BMWOR, Eugene

Sorry guys, this event is geared towards women riders. Lin and Madelyn will be hosting an day-long event at BMWOR, Eugene that is designed specifically for women. Starting at 10:00am, we'll hold seminars for women concerning riding apparel, pre-ride checks, and basic maintenance before heading out on a ride to Tomaselli's in Elkton. June 3rd: BMWOR Ride to Pacific City

For those of you that haven't yet met our staff in Tigard, one of our Sales Advisors, Rainer, was an Edelweiss tourguide. In getting acquainted with the Pacific Northwest, Rainer will be leading a group from BMWOR, Tigard to the Pelican Pub & Brewery in Pacific City. Rainer will plan on leaving Tigard at 9:00am with an intended arrival time in Pacific City at 11:30pm for lunch at the Pelican Pub & Brewery.

June 7th: 1st Thursday Coffee

BMWRO meets at BMWOR, Tigard @ 10:00am.

June 8th-10th: Hells Canyon Rally

BMWOR will be attending the Hells Canyon Rally in Baker City OR as a vendor. If you haven't explored the roads of Eastern Oregon, this is your chance to join heaps of motorcycle enthusiasts.

June 14th-17th: BMWRO Chief Joseph Rally

Once again, BMWOR will be returning to arguably one of the best state BMW club rallies in Western US. BMWRO's Chief Joseph Rally takes over the City of John Day and offers attendees with spectacular riding and small town hospitality.

July 20th-22nd: Off-Road Riding School

BMWOR has teamed up with Coach Ramey Stroud at his Cascade Endurance Center in Lyons OR to offer our customers a chance to learn off-road riding techniques so that you can take your riding to the next level. School is limited to 8 participants and fee is $495, which includes:

Small displacement off-road motorcycles or you can use your own motorcycle

Instruction all day Saturday and half day on Sunday

Lodging in a B&B style facility for the first 6 registrants, but campsites and RV hook-ups are also available

Meals on Friday night, all day Saturday, Sunday breakfast and lunch.

Class fees must be paid upfront and are non-refundable in the event that a replacement can not be arranged. Class reservations can be made by calling BMWOR, Eugene at 541.338.0269.

August 2nd: 1st Thursday Coffee

BMWRO meets at BMWOR, Tigard @ 10:00am.

August 17th-19th: Off-Road Riding School

September 9th-12th: BMWOR Oregon Discovery Rally

BMWOR's second Oregon Discovery Rally (ODR) is full! Within one hour of opening registrations, the event was entirely booked! If you'd like to be put on the wait list, please call BMWOR, Eugene at 541.338.0269.

September 30th-October 4th: BMWOR Historic Inns & Hotel Tour

Since the ODR provides dualsport riders with a chance to enjoy the dirty side of Oregon, we want to provide the asphalt-oriented rider with an opportunity to check out Oregon too. Last year was the Oregon 4 Corners Ride and was perfect, but this year the riding is a little more random in nature and will not necessarily cover so many miles. With that said, the asphalt-oriented ride will focus on riding to and staying at Historic Inns & Hotels. Routes and hotel arrangements are being mapped out, so if you're interested in participating in this event, please call BMWOR, Eugene at 541.338.0269. Ride fee is $25 per person and includes suggested routes, and a t-shirt. Additional details to follow shortly.

October 4th: 1st Thursday Coffee
