The Bible of Motorcycle Electrical Systems!

Motorcycle Electrical Systems Troubleshooting and Repair by Tracy A. Martin is available now. This softbound, full color, 159 page book explains the principles behind 12 and 6-volt motorcycle electrical systems.

Electrical theory is kept to a minimum as the author uses a “Hot-Rod” version of Ohms Law and focuses on a more practical, hands-on approach to explaining an otherwise complex subject. Electrical testing tools are discussed including digital multi-meters, test lights, logic probes, short finders and others.

Motorcycle ignition and charging systems are explained in detail along with a chapter on how to actually read wring diagrams that includes hands-on exercises. Take a virtual ride on-board an ECU (electronic control unit) to find out how electronic fuel injection operates.

The chapter on electrical troubleshooting guides the reader through the steps to logically approach, and solve common motorcycle electrical problems. The information contained in this new book serves as an additional “electrical” tool for both Do-It-Yourself and professional technicians.

Hi Folks,
We've been extremely busy this summer teaching ARCs and vending at events, which is why you haven't heard from us in awhile. Thanks to the hundreds of you who stopped by to say "Hi" at the MotoGP race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. We are proud to announce T3RG as our newest Total Control location in Denver, Colorado. Two class dates have been added in Colorado which are limited to 12 students each.

We are now a dealer for Condor bike stands and Garmin GPS Navigation systems. Many of you have probably seen us using these products at our Clinics and it just made sense to start carrying them. The GPS includes a resettable top speed that is a great way to gauge your progress as you practice the Total Control exercises.

We also have several new dates up for our Total Control Advanced Riding Clinics around the country so check your local listings. Puget Sound Safety now has a new location in Longview, WA which is 30 minutes north of Portland. Dutchess County is offering for the 1st time, an ARC riding skills practice day for former ARC students. It's a great way to brush up on your skills at a reduced cost from the regular class. Other than private lessons, we will not be holding any more regular events in CA until September.

Ride well,
