    Weekly Tip
    According to the
    Energy Information Administration's
    Weekly Petroleum Report, "Over 12 consecutive weeks during February, March, and April, total gasoline inventories declined by a cumulative total of more than 34 million barrels (15 percent)," resulting in the record setting prices we now see at the pump. While we won't bore you with the official talking head mumbo-jumbo
    (you can read it for yourself at www.fueleconomy.gov),
    we will try to ease your pain at the pump. Over the next few weeks, we'll be featuring weekly tips for Maximizing Your Bike's Fuel Efficiency.

    Gas Tip #1

    The single greatest contributing factor to your bike's fuel efficiency is the operator's throttle hand. The farther and faster you twist the grip, the more fuel you burn. A heavy throttle hand will noticeably lower your motorcycle's fuel economy, so try to take it easy when you're not showing off your horsepower.
