**NEW** Total Control Knee Sliders

After several years of testing all kinds of high- and low-tech friction materials, the Lee Parks Design R&D team found the best combination of feel and longevity. We are proud to introduce our Total Control Knee Sliders. Unlike cheap imported plastic pucks with vinyl backing, our sliders use genuine mil-spec nylon with real deerskin backing. These long-wearing pucks use a special material used in industrial chain buffers that provides just the right amount of feedback without catching your knee or feeling too slippery. They even sound cool as they effortlessly float on the surface. Treat yourself to a pair of genuine made-in-the-USA Total Control Knee Sliders and feel the difference our technology makes to your riding.

Hi Folks,
It was great to see so many of you stop by our booth at the AMA Superbike races at Laguna Seca this past weekend. Because the crowds were so much smaller than for MotoGP, it was great to be able to spend a lot more time with each of you. At the races we introduced our long awaited knee sliders. It made sense to use our Total Control brand given the nature of the course. If you're a knee dragger (or a wannabe!) give these pucks a look-see. We also debuted our new helmet hangers. These are the best way to keep your helmet protected in your house, garage, trailer or at the track. At only $27.95 each, these are a no-brainer whether you have one helmet or a dozen. Due to the popularity of our Condor Pit-Stop/Trailer Stop bike stands, for the next 30 days, we are offering a FREE trailer adapter ($20 value) and even FREE shipping ($30 value) only for our newsletter subscribers. To take advantage of this very special offer, add the trailer kit to your shopping cart and use the coupon code "JELLYFISH" during checkout.

To help make room in our warehouse we have to get rid of the remaining inventory of our luxurious deerskin moccasins and DeerSports gold gloves. We only have a few sizes left so act fast before they're gone forever.

If you're going to be at Street Vibrations in Reno this weekend, stop by and say "Hi." I'll have our products there and be autographing copies of Total Control. Speaking of Total Control, we have a few Advanced Riding Clinics left this year before we start the winter shows, so sign up now or you'll have to wait until next year.
Ride Well,

    Overcoming Fear by Lee Parks
Whether you are a new rider or an experienced one, recreational or racer, all motorcyclists have to deal with fear while out on the road. As you might remember from biology class, your brain is divided into sections. The most primitive part of the brain is the brain stem or reptile brain. It is responsible for survival functions like the fight or flight response, and this is where riders get into trouble when they panic or target fixate. The most advanced part of the human brain is the frontal lobes. It is responsible for the advanced brain functions such as imagination, creativity, planning and intuition. An interesting thing about how our brains work is that as long we stay in the frontal lobes, we keep out of the reptile brain, which is where fear resides. In other words, you will never be afraid, so long as you can keep your consciousness in the frontal lobes. Fortunately, the Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic is the only motorcycle training available that teaches riders how to stay in the frontal lobes while riding. The Metal State portion of the clinic teaches students how to overcome fear on a motorcycle, keep their concentration and have the right attitude toward riding, which can increase safety exponentially. Based on my the best-sellling book of the same name, Total Control is perfect for riders of all kinds of motorcycles from cruisers to sportbikes with more than a year of riding experience. So take your riding to the next level by signing up for a Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic today!
