1125R
Dave
gets
a
sneak
preview
of
the
Buell
1125R
at
Pocono
Raceway
Last
week
I
had
the
privilege
of
riding
the
new
Buell1125R
at
the
Pocono
Raceway
east
course,
and
the
first
thing
I’d
like
to
say
is
WOW!!!!!!
This
bike
has
so
many
great
features
and
technical
innovations,
it’s
really
hard
to
decide
where
to
begin??
….
This
motor
is
awesome!
It
has
a
very
smooth
power
delivery
which
is
very
linear
from
the
time
you
leave
the
clutch
out
and
click
through
the
gears
reaching
for
the
10,500
redline
-
which
comes
at
you
in
a
hurry.
Another
great
feature
is
the
vacuum-assisted
slipper
clutch,
which
allows
quick
down
shifts
without
worrying
about
matching
engine
speed
to
your
down
shift….
And
no
wheel
hop!
The
six-speed
(YES,
6-speed!)
transmission
is
extremely
smooth
with
a
positive
feel.
To
slow
you
down
they’ve
installed
the
8-piston
brake
caliper
from
the
Buell
Racing
XBRR.
One
finger
on
the
lever
will
haul
you
down
in
a
hurry.
The
rubber
meets
the
road
with
Pirelli
Corsa
III
tires
that
have
great
feel
and
the
benefit
of
triple
compound
rubber
on
the
rear
for
better
center
tire
wear,
and
exceptional
grip
when
cornering.
And
there’s
so
much
more!!!
We’ll
