about
Willie:
On
the
15th
of
September
2007,
Willie
was
involved
in
a
terrible
head-on
collision
while
riding
his
Harley-Davidson
motorcycle.
At
4:15pm,
Willie's
family
was
notified
that
LifeEvac
med-flight
team
air
lifted
him
with
life-threatening
injuries.
to
MCV
hospital.
Due
to
Willie's
injuries,
he
will
need
to
receive
many
surgeries
and
major
physical
therapy
in
order
to
ever
walk
again.
He
will
also
be
receiving
a
pace-maker
for
a
prior
heart
condition
along
with
additional
non-life
threating
surgeries.
According
to
Willie's
doctors,
he
will
not
be
able
to
work
for
at
least
1
to
2
years.
Willie
has
no
medical
insurance,
so
all
medical
expenses
will
be
paid
out
of
pocket.
Willie
is
a
proud
home
owner
in
Dinwiddie
County;
he
has
been
the
sole
provider
for
his
daughter
Nicole,
step
daughter
Leslie,
and
girlfriend
Patricia.
Anyone
that
knows
Willie'
knows
he
is
a
hard
worker
who
loves
his
family,
friends,
and
co-workers.
