DECEMBER SUPERSTITION H.O.G. NEWSLETTER

I thought this might be a good issue to let the pictures from the Holiday Party "do the talking."

Enjoy!

Upon arrival you were met with these smiling faces!

Our Fearless Director and his better half Beth in front of the Christmas tree.

Head Road Captain John Cat and Jan in front of the tree!

Tim and Julie at the tree...

Sarge, Mark, Jesse, and Joyce (seated).

A table full of presents in the foreground, fun in the background!

5 Years YOUNG. Nuff said...

Tom gets down to business at the General Meeting portion of the evening.

George and Ranger Ed and the Mountain Goat. We spent money...

Our photog hard at work. Notice the formal attire...

New Officers pause for a photo, LOH Jeannie and Rob the Activities Director.

Among others, Stacey and John H enjoyed the dancing.

Now this is DANCING! Mark and Bev cut a rug... Shades of a John Travolta scene from Pulp Fiction came to mind!

A Final Word on 2007 From the Assistant Director
WOW here we are near the end of 2007 already, and what a year it was. It seems like there is always something going on and somewhere to ride to. I hope you all enjoyed all the activities as much as I did. We had a good showing for the Arizona H.O.G. Rally in Tucson and I hope we can do even better in 2008. I will do my best to keep you up to date on all the activities that will be taking place. We also had a group that rode with H.O.G. in the Rockies in Colorado this summer and they had a good time as well. I have enjoyed hearing about all the good rides that took place even though I was not much up to riding this past year due to my accident but all that will change this coming year. I already have my ticket to Milwaukee in August and am ready to ride.

We had two groups complete the Experienced Riders Course through T.E.A.M. Arizona this year. What a deal. The cost was $90.00 each. Of that $90.00, they received $50.00 back from H.O.G. National and Mark and Bev gave each a $40.00 gift certificate as well. Total cost was $0.00. I was at each class taking pictures and can say it looked like everyone got something out of the class. Even as a spectator, I picked up a few good tips. This is not a class for new riders, but once you feel comfortable riding your bike we strongly recommend that everyone take this class. Even if you have been riding for years you will pick up something out of this class. If you do take the class on your own and not through one of the classes that the chapter sets up, you can still get the refunds from H.O.G. National and through the Dealer but you must let me know and give me a copy of the certificate so I can set this up with Mark and Bev. This is not something the Receptionist will be able to do. My contact information is something the receptionist can help you with and it is also in each Newsletter. Dave Harrison, the Safety Officer will be setting up the new class. There is a sign up sheet at the reception desk if you’re thinking of taking the Experienced Riders Course. Please sign up early.

I hope you all enjoy the remainder of 2007 and I enjoyed seeing those of you that could attend at the Christmas Party we had on December 15th. I have enjoyed being your Assistant Director in 2007 and look forward to 2008.

Bob Block,

Asst. Director, Superstition H.O.G.
