Limit 1 per customer. Eric's Tech Corner In my job at Minor's I have to ride all of the new bikes that we send out. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it for the good of the people! I want to begin giving you a quick riding impression each month of the various new models. First I'll start with the touring models. The first thing you notice is the Brembo brakes. These things are awesome with or without ABS, but personally I prefer the ABS. Next is the cush drive, which is a rubber drive pulley system. It works so well at keeping the joints in the road away from the rider that it truly does glide. Add a 6 gallon tank at 46mpg and the only time you have to stop is when you have to go. No throttle cables was one thing I didn't know if I'd like, but I'm sold now. It is so precise and the feel is smooth. The electronic cruise is better than what is in my car. The 96" motor does its job so well it's like cheating, and for those of us who want a little more, a 103" is easy to do and priced right. As you can probably tell, I came away impressed with the new touring models from Harley-Davidson. Next month we'll discuss the new Dyna's.
