March
14,
2008
To
all
of
our
valued
Cliff’s
Cycle
Revolution
friends.
It
is
with
great
pleasure
and
exhausted
elation
that
I
announce
the
move
of
Cliff’s
Cycle
Revolution
to
465
Federal
Road,
Brookfield
Connecticut.
The
road
getting
to
Brookfield
has
been
long,
dusty
and
chock
full
of
potholes.
The
reality
of
the
project’s
duration
set
in
when
I
found
notes
dating
back
to
the
summer
of
2005
-
when
we
first
located
the
property.
Anyone
who
has
dealt
with
environmental
law
and
local
town
committee’s
will
understand
the
time
lag.
When
I
left
Wall
Street
to
open
Cliff’s
BMW
Motorcycles
of
Danbury
in
May
of
2003,
I
had
a
simple
vision.
To
staff
and
run
a
fair
and
honest
dealership,
offer
a
great
destination
for
my
customers
and
instill
a
philosophy
of
the
fun
that
is
motorcycling.
In
2003
we
opened
as
a
stand
alone
BMW
dealer.
We
acquired
Aprilia
in
the
fall
of
2004
and
then
added
Ducati
mid
2005.
Continued
turmoil
at
Piaggio
led
us
to
review
our
ability
to
service
Aprilia
customers
and
subsequently
terminated
volutarily
in
2006.
MV
Agusta
joined
the
ranks
in
the
summer
of
2006,
and
we
changed
the
name
of
the
store
to
a
more
'all
encompassing'
Cliff’s
Cycle
Revolution.
NCR
Corse
wooed
Cliff’s
in
2007
and
has
since
become
the
stores
premium
race
oriented
brand.
Space
quickly
became
a
premium.
Additional
service
lifts,
parts
inventory
and
showroom
display
requirements
were
needed
to
keep
pace
with
our
growth.
The
84
Mill
Plain
Road
location
was
busting
at
the
seams
over
2
years
ago
but
the
irony
is
that
I
was
prepared
and
bought
the
Brookfield
property
almost
3
years
ago.
Before
we
had
a
grasp
of
the
delays
to
come,
we
announced
our
move
for
the
fall
of
2006.
We
ran
into
some
unusual
delays
with
the
building
and
had
to
push
the
move
date
several
times.
Thanks
go
out
to
my
staff
for
enduring
the
numerous
‘when
are
you
moving’
questions
from
you.
We’ve
lost
some
of
our
announcement
thunder,
but,
when
you
see
the
new
store,
you
will
simply
be
amazed.
And
now
to
Brookfield!
The
store
resides
on
5
acres
of
property
and
offers
2
paved
acres
that
will
play
host
to
our
new
Connecticut
Rider
Education
Program,
plus
the
myriad
events
we
organize
each
year.
Inside
the
20,000
sqft
facility,
showroom
space
more
than
doubles
and
it
will
be
segregated
by
brand.
It
allows
us
to
merchandise
each
marque
in
their
own
unique
environment
–
a
store
within
a
store.
BMW
motorcycles,
parts
and
rider’s
apparel
have
a
dedicated
brand
sales
advisor,
as
will,
Ducati,
MV
Agusta
and
NCR
Corse.
We
will
also
have
more
room
to
merchandise
our
core
products
in
our
parts
and
accessories
department.
The
Ducati
apparel
and
accessory
area
will
quadruple
from
its
current
size.
Supporting
all
this
will
be
a
larger
stock
room
that
can
swallow
all
items
that
keep
you
on
the
road.
The
service
department
welcomes
you
with
automatic
sliding
doors.
Now
you
can
ride
into
a
climate
controlled
reception
area.
Overall
space
increases
33
percent
allowing
for
more
lifts
and
room
for
our
specialty
equipment.
Of
course
Revolution
Insurance
and
the
‘dynamic
duo’
will
be
at
your
service
with
expanded
property
and
casualty
products.
And
Dyno-Solutions
will
be
located
to
the
rear
of
the
facility
as
an
authorized
Power
Commander
dealer
and
Dynojet
approved
tuning
center.
We
will
close
for
the
move
from
Saturday
March
15th
and
re-open
on
or
about
Thursday
March
20th.
All
of
our
computers
will
be
unplugged
Friday
March
14th
after
we
close.
The
moving
truck
is
coming
Saturday
March
15th
to
start
the
transition
and
we
will
be
dusting
through
March
19th.
I
hope
you
will
all
come
to
visit.
Cliff’s
is
a
true
destination
store
more
than
ever.
It’s
a
‘hub’
where
you
can
come
to
explore…connect…learn…and
share.
There’s
a
spacious
rider’s
lounge,
full
event
schedule,
special
guests,
organized
rides,
track
days,
seminars
and
now
CONREP
approved
riding
training.
There
are
a
few
other
things
up
our
sleeve
too
so
it
will
only
get
better.
It’s
the
Revolution
Evolution
-
stay
tuned.
A
Grand
Opening
celebration
is
scheduled
for
Saturday
May
3rd
from
10am-3pm.
