Rally
and
Ride
May
17-18 |
There
are
over
10
million
Americans
surviving
cancer.
This
year
alone
more
than
1.8
million
more
will
be
diagnosed
with
the
disease
and
more
than
560,000
will
die.
A
group
of
riders
from
Brazoria
County
have
teamed
up
with
the
LIVESTRONG
foundation
to
hold
a
rally
supporting
the
foundation
and
their
cause.
This
event
will
not
only
support
the
LIVESTRONG
foundation
but
will
also
honor
everyone
who
has
survived
as
well
as
those
who
have
not,
the
battle
with
cancer.
The
1st
Annual
Cancer
Rally
and
Ride
-
Supporting
the
Lance
Armstrong
Foundation
LIVESTRONG
will
be
a
weekend-long
event
on
May
17
and
18
to
be
held
at
Columbia
Lakes
Resort
Hotel.
There
will
be
live
entertainment,
auctions,
balloon
launches,
raffles,
a
bike
show
and
much
more.
You
can
purchase
raffle
tickets
for
a
2008
Dyna
Street
Bob
from
Goe
Harley-Davidson
for
$20
each
starting
March
25th.
Cost
of
the
ride
on
May
18th
is
$20
single/$25
double.
Early
entries
receive
a
rally
patch
and
offer
for
a
$10
t-shirt.
Day-of
cost
of
t-shirts
is
$15
BBQ
plates
will
be
sold
for
