| Pre-Ride
Checklist |
1.Check
amount
of
fuel
in
tank
and
add
fuel
if
required.
2.Check
oil.
~At
normal
operating
temperature
~Resting
on
kickstand
on
Level
ground
~Remove
dipstick,
wipe
clean
and
re-insert
completely
in
fill
spout
~Remove
dipstick
and
note
oil
level,
add
only
enough
oil
to
reach
the
full
mark.(Do
not
over
fill)
~Start
engine
and
check
for
leaks
3.Check
controls
to
be
sure
they
are
operating
properly;
operate
the
front
and
rear
brakes,
throttle,
clutch
and
shifter.
4.Check
tire
condition
and
pressure.
Incorrect
pressure
will
result
in
poor
riding
characteristics
and
can
affect
handling
and
stability.
~Be
sure
to
keep
tires
properly
inflated
~Follow
tire
data
for
correct
cold
tire
inflation
pressure
~Check
before
riding
when
tires
are
cold
~Do
not
over
inflate
tires
~Inspect
tread
for
punctures,
cut
and
breaks,
weekly
