Cruizin’
Fur
Critters
Poker
Run
Our
largest
fundraiser
of
the
year
will
be
on
June
14th.
Last
year
more
than
220
people
registered
and
over
$7,500
was
raised
for
the
shelter.
The
money
raised
goes
into
the
general
fund
account
and
helps
cover
food,
litter,
medical
supplies,
payroll
and
other
expenses
related
to
the
operation
of
the
shelter.

This
year’s
ride
begins
with
registration
from
9
to
11
a.m.
at
Wausau
Harley-Davidson.
Participants
are
not
restricted
to
a
certain
route
and
may
take
the
poker
run
at
their
own
pace
to
reach
all
of
the
stops
throughout
Marathon
and
Lincoln
County.
The
ride
ends
at
the
Big
Moose
where
there
will
be
raffles,
food
and
other
fun.
First
place
will
win
$500,
second
place
a
$250
gift
certificate
for
Wausau
Harley
and
third
place
will
receive
$100.
All
makes
and
models
of
motorcycles,
cars,
and/or
trucks
are
welcome.
Registration
on
the
day
of
the
event
will
be
$25
however
if
you
pre-register
so
that
it
is
received
by
the
end
of
the
day
on
June
13th
you
can
save
yourself
$5.
Either
way,
your
participation
includes
an
event
t-shirt,
food
at
the
end
of
the
ride
and
a
good
time.
