The Director's Minute
Dear Members, Bikers, Riders, Fellow 2 and 3 Wheel Enthusiasts

Summer is here and the riders and bikes are showing their full glory out on the roads. May has been a full month for others and myself. All the Spring-cleaning is finished, I think and it’s time for a full summer of Riding and Having Fun. I have been so busy with all my Spring Stuff, that my wife (Susie) just reminded me that my tags were do on my bike after riding to Dallas and another 1500 miles around Missouri area on delinquent tags!!!!! But that hasn’t stopped me. I got the new tags and know I’m a legal rider.
I hope you're out riding getting your Chapter Challenge Points for the year and getting ready for the ride to Marble Falls, Ark. to the HUB June 27, 28, 29. This will be our Chapter ride to not miss out on. Then we have our Million Mile Ride coming up June 30th. Don’t forget to carry your cameras with you when riding. You never know what you might encounter and get those pictures to Karen Price for our end of the year riding season. Hope to see you at the next meeting; don’t forget we will be at Pier 31 Yacht Club & Marina. So for now and until later keep it between the lines and Ride Safe and have Fun!!!!!!

Assistant Director's Minute
It seems that the weather is improving and we are able to get out and ride. Jill, Tammie, Brian and I just returned from a little vacation. We managed to accumulate over 3100 miles on our trip through the south west. We saw a lot of beautiful country even though the wind kept us leaned over most of the trip. No rain, just wind. Riding through six different states was nice but I must say that Missouri really has it going on. It was nice to get back into a state that has hills and curves.
We have made a couple of changes to our annual list of events. First, we have changed our first dinner/meeting ride location. We have moved it from Chopsticks to Pier 31 Yacht Club & Marina. We will still depart from the dealership at the same time. The second change is adding the Million Mile Monday Chapter Ride on 30 June. We will depart the dealership at 10:00 A.M.
Destination will be determined by the road captain. Last is the I Don’t Work Monday Ride scheduled for 7 July. We are moving that ride to 6 July. I guess it will be called the I Don’t Work Monday Ride on Sunday. We will keep the departure time from the dealership the same. The ride leaving for the Hub, Marble Falls, AR., will depart from the Lake Dealership at 8:00 A.M.
Since I was on vacation, I was not able to attend the poker run. Sounds like it went well thanks to our vast number of volunteers. Thank you to all that helped out. You did a great job on our 1st chapter poker run. We managed to make almost $200.00 for the chapter. I did manage to make it back for the chapter photo. What a group. It was a challenge to get all those smiling faces in a group small enough to take the photo. Thanks to Dennis for taking all those photos.

Well, better get back to work. See you on the road…..

Secretary's Corner

Secretary
The Chapter photos were taken at Willmore Lodge.
The meeting was called to order by Gary Cuendet. New members and a guest were introduced.
A motion was made to accept the minutes from the last meeting as they appeared in the newsletter. Motion seconded and passed.

Treasurer
Bill Horton gave the Treasurers report. We have a current balance of $512.99. His report does not include the money from the poker run or the latest membership dues.

Safety
Allen Crawley gave the safety presentation. The road construction is in high gear so watch out for crews working. We are seeing lots of turtles on the road this time of year. As the weather gets hot we need to remember to drink plenty of liquids to keep hydrated, use sunscreen and wear a long sleeve shirt.

Ladies of Harley
Susie Cuendet thanked all the volunteers who helped with the poker run. We made approximately $100 from the event.

Activities
Ed Dobson gave the activities report. The next meeting will be 6/17. We will be meeting at the Lake Harley shop and riding to Pier 31 for dinner at 6pm and the meeting to start at 7pm. Ed wanted to thank all the volunteers who worked the poker run and reminded everyone of the drawing at the end of the year for all those who volunteer during the events.

Head Road Captain
Bill Lasater gave the Head Road Captain’s report. We still need road captains for the 6/9 ride and 3 more for the Marble Falls ride. The Monday ride 7/7 to Fredricksburg has been changed to Sunday 7/6 due to the restaurant being closed on Mondays. The Monday ride on 5/12 had 12 bikes and 18 people. Everyone should try to make one of the rides as a good time was had by all.

Historian
Historian Jill Mellroy still needs your pictures. You can send them by email to jill@ozarkharley-davidson.com, disk, or a printed picture.

Merchandise
Jill Mellroy had no new items for merchandising.

Dealership
Dealership report nothing new.

Editor/Webmaster
The Editor/Webmaster had nothing new.

Photographer
Photographer Karen Price will email a copy of the group photo to anyone who would like one. Just let her know.

Assistant Director
Tony Mellroy reported on the Dallas ride. Six bikes went with 9 people. It took 9 hours to get there and the food was worth the ride.

Director
Gary Cuendet gave the Directors report. The past months rides were reviewed. The poker run had 33 entries. The ride to Marble Falls will leave the lake dealership at 8am on June 27 and meet the Lebanon chapter at the dealership in Lebanon. Flyers for the poker run put on by CMA benefiting Gary and Dee Allan were distributed.

Misc.

The 50/50 was won by Mike Dingman.

Door prizes were won by Ben Anderson, Mike Digman, and Dee Allan.
