Like
everyone
else
in
the
country,
I
have
been
watching
the
news
and
listening
to
ads
about
the
rising
gas
prices.
To
fill
up
my
Honda
Ridgeline
I
pay
about
$85
and
my
wife
has
an
A4
which
costs
about
$65
to
fill
up.
That
is
$150
twice
per
week
for
a
monthly
total
of
$1200
in
fuel
costs!
I
hear
conversations
everyday
in
our
showroom
of
similar
fuel
spending.
Just
yesterday
I
was
speaking
to
a
young
couple.
They
told
me
that
they
both
have
an
eleven
mile
commute
to
and
from
work
five
days
a
week.
And
on
the
weekend,
their
activities
have
decreased
due
to
the
cost
of
filling
the
tanks
of
their
daily
drivers.
The
young
lady
told
me
that
they
were
feeling
the
pinch
and
really
needed
an
alternative.
“Now
that
we
are
paying
more
than
our
mortgage
to
fill
up
the
tanks
in
our
trucks
every
month,
well
it
just
seems
to
be
the
only
option
that
we
both
can
agree
on.”
This
is
just
one
of
many
stories
I
have
experienced
over
the
past
six
months.
Everyone
is
concerned
and
conscious
of
the
fuel
prices.
We
are
driving
to
and
from
work
and
giving
up
some
of
our
basic
needs
in
order
to
fill
up
our
tanks.
Another
gentleman
came
in
the
store
with
his
wife
to
purchase
a
VTX1300.
After
listening
to
what
they
were
saying
I
understood
that
he
wanted
to
ride
to
work
during
the
week
so
that
he
could
spend
quality
time
with
his
wife
and
three
children
on
the
weekend.
“We
spend
a
lot
of
money
every
week
on
gas
which
ties
up
a
lot
of
our
fun
money
that
I
would
rather
spend
taking
my
family
to
the
dunes
or
camping.”
A
man
came
into
Honda
World
a
few
months
ago
looking
at
one
of
our
Dual
Sport
bikes.
While
sitting
on
the
bike,
he
received
a
call
from
his
wife
and
then
he
explained
that
‘they’
needed
to
talk
about
it.
The
gentleman
left
looking
very
disappointed.
Three
days
ago,
the
gentleman
returned
with
his
wife
and
they
purchased
two
Dual
Sport
machines!
I
had
to
ask!
What
had
changed
over
the
past
two
months?
She
said
it
was
simple!
“I
wasn’t
to
keen
on
the
idea
of
purchasing
a
motorcycle
that
he
could
only
ride
for
a
few
months
out
of
the
year.
We
don’t
live
in
Arizona,
we
live
in
Utah.
Well,
after
paying
over
$1150
last
month
for
gas,
I
started
looking
into
his
bike
of
choice.
Then
I
decided,
I
want
one
too!”
(The
650L
gets
50-60
MPG
and
costs
about
$9.86
to
fill
up.
The
230L
gets
55-65
MPG
and
costs
about
$7.92
to
fill
up.)
Looking
at
our
total
savings
over
seven
months
was
startling!
We
need
to
save
what
we
can,
when
we
can
and
saving
on
fuel
during
the
7
months
we
are
blessed
with
beautiful
weather
is
worth
it!
Needless
to
say
we
are
both
getting
a
Honda
motorcycle
today!”
--In
a
fuel
dependent
economy,
it
is
nice
to
know
that
you
have
options.
Whether
you
are
just
looking,
still
researching,
or
committed
to
purchasing
a
new
or
used
motorcycle,
please
stop
by.
I
promise
that
my
staff
will
do
everything
they
can
to
ensure
you
have
the
information,
the
equipment,
and
the
motorcycle
of
your
dreams.
