We
want
you
to
be
safe
during
the
fall
riding
season
and
all
year
round.
Remember
to
perform
regular
maintenance.
Seriously,
it's
a
good
idea
to
be
a
lot
more
thorough
about
maintaining
your
bike
than
you
would
be
with
a
car.
If
you
don't
want
to
do
it
or
don't
have
the
time,
bring
it
in
and
we'll
take
care
of
it.
We
also
offer
a
pick
up
and
delivery
service
for
your
motorcycles.
Rates
for
this
service
vary
by
mileage.

for

Here's
some
things
that
you
may
want
to
check
out
before
hitting
the
road
this
fall:
Make
sure
tires
are
in
good
condition
and
properly
inflated
-
don't
just
look
at
them,
gauge
it.
Check
your
brakes
-
fluid,
cables,
pads
and
rotors
(check
'em
if
you've
got
'em).
Engine
and
Transmission
Oil
-
Keep
those
fluids
clean
and
full,
and
keep
your
filters
new
and
clean.
Leaks
-
Should
be
easy
to
find
if
your
bike's
been
sitting
for
a
long
time,
but
check
for
unwanted
fluids,
wet
connectors,
puddles
or
other
signs
of
leakage.
Cracks,
dents
or
other
frame
or
structural
damage
-
once
in
a
while
do
a
thorough
check
on
the
complete
frame
and
stress
points
to
make
sure
there
is
no
damage.
Chains
and
Drive
Belts
need
to
be
checked
regularly
for
proper
tension.
There
are
two
types
of
maintenance
you
must
do
on
a
shaft
drive
bike
-
At
your
rear
wheel
there
are
pinion
gears
where
the
spinning
drive
shaft
motion
is
turned
90
degrees
into
the
rear
wheel
motion.
These
gears
are
bathed
in
oil
which
much
be
changed
after
break
in,
and
about
every
10,000
miles
thereafter,
depending
on
the
model.
Also,
a
shaft
drive
bike
will
have
splines
on
each
end
of
the
drive
shaft,
and
on
a
large
ring
which
transmits
the
power
to
the
rear
wheel.
These
splines
must
be
lubricated.
This
is
a
rather
tricky
subject,
as
the
lubrication
requirements
of
splines
are
very
different
from
gears
or
bearings.
Check
all
the
switches
-
make
sure
ALL
the
lights,
lamps
and
gauges
work.
Make
sure
you
are
up
to
date
on
regular
scheduled
maintenance
-
call
if
you
don't
know
the
next
recommended
service
for
your
particular
vehicle.
Also
remember
that
lubricants,
oils
and
grease
breakdown
over
time
and
need
to
be
changed
annually
and
not
just
by
mileage.
Bogart's
Motorsports
has
the
professional
mechanics,
proper
equipment
and
know
how
to
help
you
keep
your
bike
reliable.
Call
to
schedule
a
time
to
bring
it
in
and
let
our
service
professionals
take
a
look
at
your
motorcycle.
It's
the
best
investment
you
can
make
to
keep
your
motorcycle
safe
and
reliable
this
fall
and
for
a
long
time.
