    Ducati 1198 - More Power and Less Weight

    The new DUCATI 1198 maintains the same look as the outgoing 1098, but is in fact a totally new bike. The Testastretta Evoluzione engine produces a powerful 170hp and has a dry weight of just 171kg (377lb). The Ducati Data Analysis (DDA), standard on the 1198 S model, enables the retrieval and analysis of data collected from a track session or road trip. The innovative road-going Ducati Traction Control (DTC) system monitors front and rear wheel speeds from one of eight settings and electronically reduces engine power to restore traction.
