5th Annual American Metal Car and Bike Show. Sunday, July 24th 10:00am to 4:00pm. This show is the largest car and bike show in San Jose and is free to the public. American Metal features classes for cars, trucks and bikes. Trophies and door prizes will be awarded. Besides being the largest car and bike show in San Jose, the event will also have Live Music, a BBQ, Raffle Prizes, Fashion Show and a Beauty Pageant to Crown Miss San Jose Harley-Davidson.

American Metal will also feature a racecar driven by Jimmy Vasser. Jimmy will be driving in the San Jose Grand Prix later this month. All show cars and bikes must be pre-registered.

The Taylor Woodrow Grand Prix of San José will be one of California's largest and most anticipated sporting events. 2005 will be the inaugural Champ Car event roaring through the streets of San José.

Race fans will cheer American Drivers Jimmy Vasser, AJ Allmendinger, along with Mexican Driver Mario Dominguez and series champions Sebastien Bourdais and Paul Tracy, when they compete at over 200mph on the streets of San José.

In what year did the motorcycling public meet a new motorcycle that premiered a 55 cubic inch overhead valve engine. Within one year of its debut, it became known as the first of the "Superbikes." Another Harley-Davidson tradition and legend was born.
