The Director's Minute
Greetings & Salutations,

The weather has been unpredictable of late and it showed at the November gathering. If you couldn’t attend, Jack had the sides of the pavilion down, the fireplace was fired up and burning brightly, the space heater was taking off the chill and there was hot coffee. Thanks Jack, Sue & Debi. It was an exciting meeting as we elected the officers for 2009. Those new officers are listed later in the newsletter and are now charged with taking care of the business side of Riding and Having Fun. Welcome to all the new officers, it is sure to be a fun filled and exciting 2009.

Not much going on this time of year. Get signed up for the Winter Riding Club, get some riding in and enjoy yourself. Don’t forget Pictures w/Santa, December 6th from 10 am to 2 pm. Our Ladies of Harley will also be having a bake sale, so come on out and support your LOH. Santa has been working on his beard all year and it will be great.

This will be the last reminder for the chapter Christmas Party & Awards dinner. You can sign up for dinner at either dealership. The menu, cost and lodging information are listed later in the newsletter. I hope to see ya there. We will reward our volunteers and present the awards for this years Chapter Challenge. You are just dying to know who won aren’t ya?

As you may have noticed, our website is no longer available. I hope you have been surfing our sponsors website at www.ozarkharley-davidson.com All of our rides, gatherings and events are listed there under the events calendar and there is other H.O.G. information listed on the website also. Check it often for updates and future events.

There are two events I would like to bring to your attention and get them on your calendar. The first I am sure you have seen the news in the latest edition of H.O.G. Tales and the https://members.hog.com on the 26th National Rally to be held in Oklahoma City, OK, 26-27 Jun 09. The other is one that you will hear about at a lot. The 2009 Missouri State HOG Rally is scheduled for 11-13 Sep 09 in St Charles, MO. Check out their website at www.mostatehogrally.com for all the details. A great time is to be had at both these events. More information on both of theses as the year progresses.

Our January monthly gathering will be on January 18th Crazy Jacks Bar & Grill, Waynesville, MO. Crazy Jacks is off I-44, exit 156 between the Dollar Store and Orscheln Farm & Home. Speaking of the January gathering, the dates for Road Captain Training, the Group Riding Seminar and anything we are doing for the next six months will be out and available.

May the Force Be With You,
Yoda
