Ride with renowned motorcyclist Fred Rau.Ride up California’s famous Ortega Highway for breakfast at the legendary Lookout Roadhouse. Follow the “Pines to Palms Highway” to Palm Springs, then Old Route 66 across the Mojave Desert and Bristol Dry Lake to the Colorado River Valley. Rte 66 to the ghost town of Oatman, AZ, then over Sitgreaves Pass to Kingman and lunch at the original Mr. D’z Fifties Diner. Up to Lake Meade and Hoover Dam, then two nights in Las Vegas. Ride the Valley of Fire, then the Extraterrestrial Highway alongside Area 51. Two nights in Beatty, Nevada, while we explore Death Valley. Artists’ Palette, Dante’s View and Badwater, the lowest, hottest spot on the continent. Down the Camel Driver’s Trail from the old Borax mines to the Crowbar Cafe for some rattlesnake chili, then to the Dumont Sand Dunes (highest in the country) and across the Devil’s Playground to the famed Panorama Highway.
