Whether you are a beginner or experienced rider, there is a 2006 model for you. The 2006 models have so many options they all can’t be listed. But the models and options will cover you for around-town cruising, cross-country touring and all of the roads in-between.

DYNA FAMILY

The Dyna family has been COMPLETELY re-engineered for 2006, incorporating a new 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission and two new models: the limited production FXDI 35th Anniversary Super Glide and the minimalist FXDBI Street Bob. The 35th Anniversary Super Glide commemorates the introduction of the original factory custom, the 1971 FX Super Glide, while the Street Bob mirrors the early days of Bobbers in the 1960’s.

SOFTAIL FAMILY

The 2006 Softail family features the reintroduction of the charismatic FLST/I Heritage Softail and the debut of a wide, 200mm rear tire on the FXST/I Softail Standard, FSXTB/I Night Train, and FXSTS/I Spring Softail. The Softail family continues to be a benchmark worldwide for combining custom motorcycle styling and proven technology that provides the best ownership experience and comfortable ride.

TOURING FAMILY

The Touring Family welcomes the FLXH/I Street Glide, which offers a unique combination of custom and comfort. A new audio system is available on selected Touring models with the new Advanced Audio System from Harman/Kardon. Other updates include a 24% reduced clutch lever effort, new high output charging system and a new Tour-Pak design for the Electra Glide. Come on in and check these out.

VRSC FAMILY

The VRSC Family adds a new member: the new menacing VRSCD Night Rod. The Night Rod is a raw street cruiser that takes its styling and cues from the drag strip, featuring a color-matched speed screen visor, a black frame and blacked-out mirrors and controls. Introduced in Frebruary, the VRSCR Street Rod returns with muscular styling, explosive power and responsive handling with a more upright riding position.

SPORTSTER FAMILY

Six 2006 models lead the way for the Sportster Family with the new race inspired 883R, the low seating 883L, the affordable 883’s, and the powerful 1200’s. All new models feature a new smoother shifting transmission and significantly reduced clutch effort. The Sportster Family offers exciting rides at great prices for a variety of riders.

CUSTOM VEHICLE OPERATIONS

The 2006 CVO program offers three highly custom bikes:
1.FLHTCUSE Screamin’ Eagle Ultra Classic Electra Glide,
2.FLSTFSE2 Screamin’ Eagle Fat Boy and
3.VRSCSE2 Screamin’ Eagle V-Rod
These limited edition motorcycles are hand built and loaded with custom accessories.

New for 2006 Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio System

Harley-Davidson's Advanced Audio system, developed in partnership with Harman/Kardon®, offers improved function and sound quality with an all-new integrated design. The base radio features six AM and ten FM radio presets, integrated weather band, and a single disc CD player that is compatible with CD/CDR/CDRW and MP3 format discs.

The amplification system provides sound as big as the sky. The high output amplifier provides a 40-watt per channel boost to the Advanced Audio Sound System for distortion-free sound, even at freeway speeds. Amplifier is installed beneath the rigid mount Tour-Pak to save storage space.
Your original speakers can handle it, too. No need to upgrade. But, for even more thunder, optional rear speakers are also available.
