Gas
prices
are
skyrocketing
higher
and
higher
every
day,
and
I
admit
that
I
feel
guilty
for
not
worrying
more
about
it.
I
guess
this
is
because
my
motorcycle
sips
fuel,
and
my
wallet
doesn't
feel
the
effects
of
the
new,
much
higher
prices.
However,
when
I
re-examine
the
situation,
and
look
at
it
from
other
points
of
view,
I
do
feel
bad
for
those
who
are
affected;
specifically
those
living
in
areas
with
no
mass
transit
who
must
rely
on
cars
to
get
them
to
work,
school,
and
even
shopping
for
basic
necessities.
If
any
good
can
come
from
this
situation,
maybe
people
will
start
conserving
fuel,
buy
more
fuel
efficient
vehicles
and,
of
course,
buy
more
motorcycles!
In
particular
New
Yorkers
could
benefit
from
making
their
city
more
motorcycle-friendly---cleaner
air,
less
traffic,
etc.
On
another
note...throughout
my
travels
around
town
I
have
also
noticed
that
rampant
motorcycle
ticketing
has
taken
over
the
area.
In
the
past,
motorcyclists
were
able
to
get
out
of
tickets
and
towing
by
just
removing
their
license
plates
after
parking
their
bikes.
Unfortunately,
this
is
not
the
case
any
more.
Summons
writers
now
know
where
to
find
the
motorcycle
VIN
#,
and
are
ticketing
and
towing
based
on
that
information.
With
that
said,
please
heed
this
advice
and
park
your
bike
in
a
legal
spot-towing
is
just
not
worth
the
hassle.
Lastly,
I'm
writing
this
letter
as
I
prepare
to
leave
for
Valencia,
Spain
to
test
ride
the
new
HP2
off
road.
I'm
certain
it
will
be
an
amazing
experience,
which
I
can't
wait
to
tell
you
about
next
month!
