Ozark Mountain Chapter Of Lebanon #2575
March/April 2009 Newsletter

The Director's Minute
Happy Spring to Ya’ll,

If this week’s weather is any indication then Spring is finally here, YEA!!!!!!!!
We had our first chapter ride after our gathering. Ron led us up to Ha Ha Tonka for what has become a ritual for us as the first ride of the year. Not a lot of riders, but 10 bikes made the short journey. Thanks to Ron and all the riders.
With the coming of Spring means just one thing (besides baseball), more riding time! This also means we are gearing up for the Annual Spring into Riding Run. Mark has the bike checks set up and a great little ride to Crazy Jacks in Waynesville for lunch and brotherhood. Check the website and later in the newsletter for details.
Another Spring activity is our Spring Poker Run. This year it is on April 25th with a rain date of the 26th. Check the flyer later in the newsletter. This is always a good time with a great chance of winning some big money. Volunteers are needed, so contact me if you want to help.
No time like the present to begin thinking about Club H.O.G. OKC. This year’s rally is in Oklahoma City, OK 26-27 Jun. I have one room available that has 2 queen beds for $89 + tax, checking in on the 25th and checking out on the 28th. I was asked at the meeting if there were any restrictions on motorcycles in Brickton, OKC, OK. I cannot find any reference to any restrictions. I have sent an email to the Visitors Bureau, and will let you know what they say.
I also have 3 rooms available at the hotel that is connected to the convention center where the Missouri State H.O.G. Rally is being held. They are $119 a night suites with two double beds. If you are interested in one of these, it’s first come first served.
I am pleased to announce that the name badges that members have been ordering have been coming in and I see you wearing them. Although we know each other, it is a great show of pride in our chapter when we are out riding, attending rallies or just hangin with other folks. Thanks to all that have ordered a name badge and I encourage those who haven’t to contact me to get on the list for the next order.
Our next gathering is on April 19th at the pavilion behind Ozark Harley-Davidson at 11am. There is a scheduled ride to Stockton & Pomme de Terre State Parks.

May the Force Be With You,
Yoda
