NASCAR
Update:
“Indian”
Ron
Hornaday
Wins
at
Charlotte!
|
|
Our
favorite
truck
driver
reports
that
he’s
out
riding
and
enjoying
his
2009
Indian
Chief
Vintage
between
races,
but
it’s
getting
to
be
a
very
busy
time.
After
falling
a
lap
down,
Ron
Hornaday
came
back
to
win
NASCAR’s
Camping
World
Truck
race
at
Charlotte.
He
also
claimed
the
series
point
lead
and
became
the
All-Time
Winningest
Truck
Driver
with
40
wins.
Things
did
not
go
so
well
at
Dover,
when
tire
failure
caused
heavy
impact
on
Lap
34.
Ron's
crew
rebuilt
the
right
front
and
he
eventually
finished
27th
but
was
able
to
maintain
the
series
lead
by
27
points.
Never
give
up.
June
is
a
jam-packed
NASCAR
truck
month
with
races
at
Texas
on
June
5,
Michigan
on
June
13,
The
Milwaukee
Mile
on
June
19
and
Memphis
on
June
27.
Go
get'em
Ron
and
best
of
luck
to
the
#33
team!
