RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Contestants must cook their whole meal on an H-D mini grill.
2. The meals cannot be pre-cooked in any way. Prep work can be done beforehand.
3. Contestants must make a full meal consisting of meat (chicken, fish, pork, beef, etc), starch (pasta, potato, barley, etc) and a vegetable (peas, carrots, green beans, etc).
4. Jim’s H-D will provide the charcoal and lighter fluid.
5. Contestants will be judged on creativity, taste and presentation.
6. Contestants must pay a $10 REFUNDABLE fee for participating. Spots are on a first response first reserve basis. The $10 will be refunded upon showing up for the Grill Off. If you do not show, the money will be donated to the Jim’s Toy Run.
7. Contestants must be at Jim’s H-D to set up at 8:00am and start cooking no earlier than 10:00am.
8. Contestants must be finished cooking and ready to submit their meal by 11:30am.
9. The food will then be placed in a Styrofoam container to keep warm until judging.
10. Depending on the number of contestants, submission times for the food may be staggered (turned in every 10 minutes). This will be communicated to the contestants the day of the Grill Off.
11. There will be 3 judges scoring creativity, taste and presentation on scale of 1 to 10.
12. The contestant with the highest accumulated score will win the contest.
13. In the event of a tie, the remaining contestants’ score sheets will be placed in a drawing. One will be picked and declared the winner.

Time Table
8:00 am: Set up
10:00 am: Cooking commences
11:30 am: Cooking ends
11:30 am: Meals must be ready for judging
12:30 pm: Judging Ends
1:00 pm: Winners announced
