Bring your two or three wheeled ride down for a quick bath between 12-4pm from our "Too Hot To Handle" bikini bike washers (we just ask that you get here early enough to let your pipes cool down) There will be live music from "Identity Unknown", tasty BBQ and babes in bikinis! LEARN TO RIDE TODAY FUEL FINDER WHAT "RFTB" MEANT TO ME The morning of Saturday, May 16th brought a site for many anticipated viewers. It was more breath taking than any sunrise I’ve ever seen. It was the 7th Annual Run For The Border. Rows of bikes all lined up, decorated with flowers, teddy bears and bold colors of our American flag. That was a rush even Gordon from Java Dog couldn’t match! Sorry Gordon. Last year, I came aboard as the Marketing Coordinator for Legend Harley-Davidson. I’ve been around Harley’s most of my life. Mostly on the back of some boyfriends’ bike but hey, you gotta start somewhere right? I finally took the bull by the horns and bought my first Harley. Along with this experience, came an understanding. An understanding that any priveleged rider could appreciate. DEDICATION. When you combine unity and fellow riders, you get an amazing result. A group of big hearted, caring individuals that give a S***! Raising over $22,000 local dollars, $4,000 alone from the Ladies of Harley benefit dinner, contributions from local businesses and three hundred and sixty bikes, made this event yet another successful participation from all. The 7th Annual RFTB benefit ride went to help out our local ladies, Heather & Heidi Flowers. When Larry gave the go ahead for everyone to start up their bikes it was like a thunderstorm ready to roll through the Wenatchee valley. One by one, bikes of all flavor lined up and headed off to the Canadian border. Standing next to Kathy Evola, coordinator for RFTB, I realized I wasn’t the only one wiping my eyes. Our cup runneth over. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who ignored these hard times and pushed forward to make life a little easier for someone else. You ROCK!
