Our
journey
in
Costa
Rica
will

José,
across
the

point
on
the
Pan
American

down
from
the
cool
mountains
to
the
tropical
village
of
Dominical
on
the
Pacific
Coast
where
you
will
reside
in
bungalows
nestled
within
a
forest.
The
journey
will
continue
through
the
highlands
near
Poas
Volcano
and
on
to
La
Fortuna,
the
staging
area
for
the
fiery
antics
of
Arenal
Volcano.
A
ride

San
José
will
complete
this
adventure.

| Letter
from
our
Sales
Manager |
Historically,
insurance
companies
have
claimed
that
a
high
perecentage
of
motorcycle
accidents
are
caused
by
riders
who
do
not
have
a
motorcycle
license,
or
who
only
have
a
motorcycle
permit.
However,
with
insurance
companies
leaning
on
the
NYPD
to
enforce
motorcycle
laws,
I
would
like
to
emphasize
the
importance
of
having
a
valid
motorcycle
license.
Please
do
not
take
this
lightly.
Lately,
we've
been
hearing
of
check
points
that
only
stop
motorcycle
riders.
Officers
have
been
issuing
summons
for
minor
infractions
and
even
confiscating
bikes
for
not
having
proper
documentation.
It
could
mean
the
difference
between
riding
or
resorting
back
to
that
Metro-card
in
the
back
of
your
wallet!
So,
let's
be
careful
out
there.
On
a
more
positive
note,
riding
the
HP2
in
the
mountains
of
Valencia,
Spain
was
a
blast.
I
was
definitely
forced
out
of
my
comfort
zone,
riding
on
narrow
and
winding
dirt
roads
high
up
in
the
mountains
without
any
guard
rails.
I
can
honestly
say
that
the
HP2
made
me
a
better
rider.
What
a
machine!
But,
then
again,
$19K
plus
will
get
you
one
heck
of
an
off-road
bike.
Don't
forget
to
stop
by
our
Fall
Open
House,
on
November
5th
(more
details
below).
I
will
gladly
share
some
great
stories
and
pictures
of
my
trip.

BMW
K1200S
as
a
Fine
Art
Sculpture? |
|
Recently,
a
Manhattan
resident,
with
a
spacious
penthouse
towering
over
the
New
York
City
skyline,
had
the
idea
to
place
a
K1200S
in
his
apartment
for
pure
admiration.
What
sounded
easy
enough,
ended
up
being
quite
the
challenge.
After
several
failed
delivery
plans,
the
bike
had
to
be
practically
stood
upright
in
the
elevator
order
to
fit.
But,
talk
about
a
unique
approach
to
interior
decorating!
