TECH
TIP,
by
Lee
Bond,
Service
Manager
Sometimes
we
pack
our
saddlebags
&
tour
packs
with
as
much
as
they
will
hold.
Then,
we
also
add
a
passenger
behind
us!
We
might
notice
a
tire
rubbing
on
the
rear
fender
when
we
hit
a
bump
in
the
road.
This
could
be
due
to
improper
pressure
in
our
rear
shocks
on
touring
models. The
shocks
will
lose
air
pressure,
over
a
period
of
time,
causing
the
rear
end
to
be
softer. The
pressure
should
be
checked
and
adjusted
with
the
proper
tool. We
sell
the
pump/air
pressure
gauge
here
at
HDC,
part
#54630-0A. Check
your
shocks
regularly
&
adjust
them
to
the
amount
of
weight
on
the
rear
of
the
bike.
