Bike
Week
2009

Bike
Week
is
finally
here!
It's
been
an
exciting
couple
of
weeks
here
at
Granite
State
Harley-Davidson:
On
Monday,
June
1,
2009,
Ms.
Alice
King
of
Windsor,
VT
turned
100
years
young.
Alice,
a
motorcycle
rider
since
1927
(when
she
was
18),
wanted
nothing
more
than
one
more
ride
on
a
Harley-Davidson
for
her
birthday.
Thanks
to
Granite
State
Harley-Davidson,
she
got
her
wish.
T he
memorable
event
got
tons
of
media
attention
from
as
far
away
as
England.
You
can
get
the
full
story
and
see
the
news
videos
by
visiting
our
website,
GraniteStateHarley.com
and
clicking
on
Alice's
picture.
We
also
had
a
blast
at
Twin
State
Speedway
in
Claremont
on
June
5th.
It
was
Granite
State
Harley
night
at
the
track
for
the
True
Value
Hardware
Modified
Series.
A
group
of
about
twenty
GSHD
employees,
HOG
Chapter
members,
and
friends
rode
bikes
from
the
dealership
to
the
track.
We
had
a
nice
display
of
bikes
and
Motorclothes
there,
but
best
of
all
we
got
the
opportunity
to
tear
around
the
banked
track
on
the
bikes!
Our
staff
also
got
to
set
the
pace
for
the
races
on
bikes
and
with
the
GSHD
Mini
Cooper.
We'll
be
back
at
the
track
to
do
it
again
on
October
2nd,
so
we
hope
you'll
join
the
fun.
Speaking
of
the
Mini,
keep
an
eye
open
for
it
at
Laconia
this
week.
Members
of
our
Sales
Staff
will
be
there
frequently
(and
in
full
force
Saturday
night).
If
you
see
any
of
us,
ask
for
a
GSHD
Poker
Chip.
It
will
entitle
you
to
a
15%
discount
off
any
one
item
from
our
Motorclothes
or
Parts
Departments.
Thinking
about
some
new
pipes?
Party
with
us
at
Bike
Week
and
get
the
best
deal
ever!
Lots
of
great
things
going
on
at
The
Harley
Shop
for
Bike
week,
also.
We'll
have
free
food
on
the
grill
every
day
instead
of
the
usual
Saturdays,
Specials
on
Parts,
Accessories,
and
Motorclothes
as
well
as
our
'everyday'
great
deals
on
the
Upper
Valley's
largest
selection
of
New
and
Pre-Owned
Harley-Davidsons.
Another
great
event
for
Bike
Week:
The
Orange
County
Chopper
"Patriot"
bike
will
be
here
all
day
on
Tuesday,
June
16th.
You
may
have
caught
the
American
Chopper
episode
on
TLC
when
the
new
chopper
built
for
the
National
Guard
was
revealed.
Now
you
can
see
in
it
person,
the
new
OCC
custom
creation
better
known
as
the
"Patriot
Chopper".
From
a
national
contest,
four
National
Guard
Soldiers
who
submitted
their
ideas
for
the
bike
design
were
ultimately
chosen
as
the
winners.
We'll
also
have
Humvees
and
other
great
displays
from
the
National
Guard.
Come
on
down
to
The
Harley
Shop
and
check
it
out!
A
sales
event
that
we're
very
excited
about
is
going
on
right
now...Buy
a
new
Sportster
model
and
we'll
reimburse
you
the
cost
of
a
certified
Motorcycle
Safety
Course.
We
care
about
your
safety,
whether
you're
a
beginner
or
a
seasoned
veteran
rider.
Safety
courses
are
available
for
every
skill
level,
and
we
want
to
send
YOU!
Stop
in
and
discuss
the
program
with
our
Sales
Department;
there's
no
better
time
for
you
to
get
that
Sportster,
Nightster,
or
the
new
Iron
and
XR
1200!
Until
next
time,
