Harley-Davidson's Traveling Museum Comes To SJHD

A TWO-WHEELED LEGEND IN AN 18-WHEELER PACKAGE

What do you do with a racing legend so famous that even an entire history book can't hold it? You build a steel-reinforced museum that can. The Harley-Davidson Traveling Museum, an 18-wheel semi trailer packed to the axles with 10 of the greatest bikes in Harley-Davidson's 100-year racing history, is coming to San Jose Harley-Davidson.

Leave the almanac on the shelf because this exhibit is a rare chance to come face-to-face with the trophies, riders, and machines that defined era after era of American motorcycle racing. The Traveling Museum rides across the country every year stopping at only a select number of H-D dealerships. The exhibits include the 1927 Peashooter that led an incredible 14-race sweep of the 1935 National Championships, as well as the “Wrecking Crew”, a team of racers whose infamous performances demolished their opponents. The museum also houses the FL dragger that broke three world records in the 1990's.

San Jose Harley-Davidson will accept motorcycles for storage starting October 15 th , 2005
All stored motorcycle must be picked up no later than April 15 th , 2006

• Any motorcycles left in storage after April 15 th , 2006 will be charged an additional $100 per month
• Keys must be left with motorcycle

Storage is an enclosed, indoor secure facility

• $50 per month fee, no partial month rentals
• Gas tanks must be topped off when dropping off for storage
• Customer will be charged for gas if tank is not topped off
• Free pickup and delivery service within 25 miles for storage between November 1 st , and February 28 th.
