Summer officially started June 21st. For many of us that work and play outdoors we know it started much sooner. I hope that all riders are finding time to get out and make some early summer rides before we hit the scorching days of summer. Remember to pack plenty of water for your rides and wear sunscreen. We are receiving good feedback on our new Saturday morning meeting time. We have been able to get to a volunteer to help with breakfast and it makes for a great meeting.

This newsletter comes at a good time to start planning for Million Mile Monday. This Harley Davidson national event will be held on June 29, 2009. The dealership will host a lunch for all participants and I encourage each of you to consider extending your weekend to participate in riding on that day. Harley-Davidson hopes to have 5 million participants this year!

The Waco H.O.G. Chapter will hold its annual H.O.G. Chapter Roundup on July 4th this year. We will combine the Roundup and the Independence Day celebrations on this Saturday. Hope to see you all at the dealership and take advantage of this event to renew your annual Waco H.O.G. Chapter local dues. Forms will be available for paying your H.O.G. National dues as well.
