Free your spirits to the sounds of music and motorcycles, as bikers make their way into the parking lot and historic courtyard while The Blue Lords Southern Rock band rock out.

Portsmouth School Art Teacher and Airbrush Artisan, Bill Tippit, will offer hands-on make-and-take airbrush demonstrations near the Museum Shop, where unique merchandise and works by local artists are for sale.
The exhibit FREEDOM: Evolution of the Motorcycle will be open free this evening, encompassing both floors of the Courthouse Galleries, with close to forty motorcycles on display.

No Registration Required For more information call 757-393-8983 Portsmouth School Art Teacher and Airbrush Artisan, Bill Tippit, will offer hands-on make-and-take airbrush demonstrations near the Museum Shop, where unique merchandise and works by local artists are for sale. Bill Tippit has been involved with the commercial arts for 15 years, while airbrush art is one of his preferred media to work in. Bill has developed a unique style with his own art, combining the classic custom culture art, popularized in 1960’s Southern California, with modern approaches and contemporary materials. Those who want to try this unique experience in painting will be introduced to beginner airbrush techniques, using several end-nozzles to produce different effects (lines, spots, and fogs). In combination with basic stencils, participants will be able to quickly create simple scenes of beach sunsets, Hawaiian flowers, and flaming dice! Mr. Tippit resides in Currituck, North Carolina, with his wife, Tanna. There he manages a home-based airbrushing business called Billzart Custom Designs, working on projects ranging from clothing designs to customized vehicle painting.
