Kustom Kruise-In Categories
Show registration 10:00am - 12:00noon.  This is a laid back, just for kicks, fun kind of kruise-in show.  Plus a great opportunity to meet other enthusiasts.  Awards will be based on popular vote, for the following categories, for both car and bike (except Best of Show).  Reserve your spot early - call Brian (716) 532-4584, brian@gowandaharley.com

Best Paint / Pinstriping
Simple pinstripes over flat black or a pinup girl on army green, paint and stripes are the tattoos we roll by.  Vote on your favorite paint scheme or pinstriping.

Best Upholstery
Upholstery is all in the details.  Vote on your favorite material, stitching, inlay or whatever makes you wish you were sitting on that ride.

Best Wheels
Like an old pair of Chuck Taylors, wide whites on black rims are just cool.  Vote your favorite wheel and tire combination.

Best Motor
Ford Flathead to H-D Twin Cam, the motor is the soul of the ride.  Vote your favorite on make, detail (or lack of) and ofcouse, sound!

Most Rat
When building a kustom, parts don’t always come from a catalog.  Vote your favorite based on original creativity and kraftsmanship.

Most Original
Stay true to your roots.  Vote your favorite based on original authenticity.

Best of Show
There’s only one winner here.  Two wheels vs. four wheels.  Vote on the total package.

~~Frequently Asked Questions~~
Does it have to be American made?
We'd prefer to keep it real.  America is the birthplace of rock-n-roll, hots rods and Harleys.  But kool is still kool, and there's some kool antique and bobber imports out there.  So here's the deal.  We won't turn you away, but you're in your own category (best import, not listed above) and the award won't be as coveted as the rest.

What kind of cars are welcome?
Think old school rock-n-roll.  American made 1930's thru 1960's coupes, sedans, trucks, open wheeled rat rods, etc.  Or modern stuff with that classic rebel look.  As much as we really love muscle cars and tuner cars, we've got an 'old school rebel' theme going here.

What kind of bikes are welcome?
American made pre-1984 and bobbers - meaning anything new or old that's been stripped down and/or blacked out.  Again, as much as we love chrome and choppers, we've got an 'old school rebel' theme going here.

How can I wear a pin-up dress on a motorcycle?
No worries, we have changing rooms.

Music
Old school rock-a-billy for 'old soul' rebelz.  Check out Pete Worden and the Hardtimers on MySpace and www.peteworden.com

Dress Code
Men: garage shirt & pomade
Ladies:  pin up dress
An award will be given to the best dressed guy and best dressed lady.

Cruise
The fun doesn't end when the awards are passed out!  Fire up your ride and join us for a police escorted cruise to the Dunkirk Boardwalk Market.  Restaurants, bars, ice cream, park trails and that famous Lake Erie sun set!

Win This Great Door Prize...

"February 3rd 1959.  At 1am, a Cadillac is stolen in Clear Lake, Iowa.  Unknown to the thief, a set of tapes lies hidden in the trunk.  Five days later in Los Angeles, a drag race will decide the fate of Buddy Holly's final recording.  Will the music live... or die?"

Win an autographed copy and limited book release poster of The Last Rock and Roll Show.   Written by Danny White - musician, hot rod enthusiast and owner of 16 Ton Recording Studios on Music Row in Nashville, TN.  www.thelastrockandrollshow.com

"One of the best Rock and Roll books I've ever read.  A must for any Buddy Holly fan!" - Tommy Allsup, Buddy Holly guitarist, Feb. 2, 1959.  Grammy Award winning musician, Rock and Roll legend.

"This story begins 'the day the music died.  It's just like riding shotgun in a 1950's whodunit.  You can smell the fuel burning, quench your thirst with an ice cold Coca-Cola, and feel the power of that classic Detroit muscle.  The Last Rock and Roll Show flawlessly blends the details of the fateful night we lost some of rock's true pioneers with an original tale of teenage dreams gone wrong.  This is the kind of historical fiction music fans live for." - Robert Reynolds, Grammy Award winning founder of the Mavericks.  Lifelong Buddy Holly fan.
