Our first Special Olympics Dream Ride was spectacular, over $1200 was raised for VT Special Olympics. Check out the YouTube video below. We had some great visits from other groups. The 1340 Club and the Valley Field HOG Chapter from Quebec came down from the North. It's great to see the Harley enthusiasm from another country. Rumor has it that Deb and the ladies had a good time on the Boston Run. They cheered the Red Sox to victory over the Yankees. Debby came close to getting her first tattoo. Many mysteries still linger from that trip. With September upon us we celebrate the theme of Freedom!! It starts with the Champlain Valley HOG Blood Drive this Sunday the 6th. Give blood freely for someone in need. Please spread the word and drag in your friends. The Red Cross needs all the help they can get right now. Join us for our Military Appreciation Day on the 12th. Let them know what your Freedom means to you. Try your hand at the climbing wall and see me and Mike M in the dunk tank – this will be a great time for everyone. Finish off the month with the popular Bruce's Moose Run on the 13th. Show everyone that you are still free to ride your motorcycle when you want and where you want. Moose be Damned. Bruce's Moose Run Ride Sunday, September, 13th Join us for the second annual Bruce's Moose Run Ride 8:30 am; Meet at JP's Restaurant at 39 River Rd for a hearty breakfast 10:00 am: kick stands up for a scenic group ride (about 50 miles) 1:00-ish BBQ at GMH-D. We'll have burgers, dogs and even a few moose burgers Genuine "Damn Moose" shirts are available for a $20 donation to the Moose Foundation. Get yours in Black or Cherrie Orange. Shirts available NOW at GMH-D All donations will go to the Moose Foundation, Riders Helping Injured Riders. Numerous pictures were captured but due to unknown forces, the pictures were deleted. It's unclear how this happened..IT issues? Mercury Retrograde? Male jealously? We really don't know. Anyway it's probably best that some of the pictures were destroyed. All in all, the Tres Chicas had a wonderful time.
