RIDING SEASON COMING TO A CLOSE?
(Almost, But Not Yet)
School’s back in session, out of vacation time, and out of traveling money! If you are like me, this pretty well describes your situation for 2009. It's hard to believe September is almost here, but that still leaves six to eight weeks of good riding weather ahead and plenty of weekend and day rides to experience.....Pg 2

Your First Ride
When it comes to H.O.G. History, what could be more important to you than your first ride with the chapter? It had to be memorable, and must have been a lot of fun or you would not still be riding with us. I got to thinking about this because last month was my 15th anniversary with the chapter, and I can still remember that first ride like it was yesterday.....Pg 2

Ride for a Cure
Thank You!
I want to thank everyone for their continued support. We had an awesome turnout for the 3rd Annual Ride For A Cure on July 11, 2009. I can't tell you how much I, David and the entire dealership and community appreciate everything you as a group do for us here at Blue Springs Harley Davidson. I have been approached by several customers that have said, "That was the best ride I have been on, it ran so smoothly, give yourselves a pat on the back, I don't know how you pulled that together and have it be so successful." I have to agree the Greater KC HOG Chapter has the best members in the world. Please again pat yourselves on the back. We as a collective group collected $6470.00 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Kansas City. Thank you for your group donation of $500.00. And a personal thank you to everyone who participated in the ride, donated items for the drawings and most of all volunteered to help make this event an annual event at Blue Springs Harley Davidson. It was a long, hot sticky day but you all are the best troopers around and we again accomplished a great goal. Hope to see you all next year.

A Memorable Ride
I am an average Harley rider who enjoys riding with my fellow H.O.G. members, which is a family of great people. I have been on a lot of rides and gone to many, many H.O.G. rallies over the last couple years. The ride our chapter went on July 16-19, 2009 was and will be the one I will always remember. Our destination was Milwaukee, Wisconsin to tour the Harley Davidson motor plant and tour the new Harley Davidson museum with our H.O.G. regional manager Leah Whaley, who is the best manager of any organization I have belonged to or been associated with.....All of Pg 3
