Why Not Have Peterson's Pick Up Your Bike During The Week & Have It Ready By Friday Or Saturday And Then You Can Say.... "Screw It. Let's Ride!" That’s right! We’ll pick up your bike during the week at no charge, work on it during the week so you can have it for the weekend. Just call one of our Service Writers, Eddie, Richard or Jose At The North Store And At The South Store David Or Lazaro as early in the week as possible so we can schedule our truck for a FREE pick up. Obviously our pick up area has limitations so please call with your exact location but generally we will go anywhere from Florida City to the Northern most part of Broward County. Our truck is usually very busy so call as soon as possible early in the week so that we can make arrangements for your pick up. Sorry, Free pick up service does not include return drop offs & is not for Warranty Only repairs. South Store Service We all have great customer stories, recently the Service Department at Peterson’s Harley-Davidson South was contacted by Mr. Tim Olsen with just a bit of a different request! It seems Mr. Olsen is the Chief Engineer on the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster. Tim rides a 2004 FLHTC-I which travels everywhere with him on board the ship. Tim emailed us indicating he was having a charging system problem and could we help. While a charging system issue is not a big deal, the Nancy Foster was going to be in Key West with a 3 day window, that presented a bit more of a challenge as Key West is about 3 hours down the road! The Nancy Foster was at sea, our only form of communication was email through satellites! NOAA Ship “Nancy Foster” We arranged for pick up through our local towing service, and Tim’s bike was picked at USCG Trumbo Point mid day on Sept. 8, as he was riding from the ship to the main gate, the bike died and Tim had to push it to the gate in summer heat! Tim’s 2004 FLHTC-I being off-loaded Tim’s bike arrived here, went right up on the lift, and after replacing a faulty voltage regulator, went back on the truck and returned to Tim in time for him to take a tour of the beautiful Florida Keys! The crew in the Service Department thanks Tim for trusting his repairs to us, we never did get to meet him in person so we sure hope the next time the Nancy Foster is in town, Tim will stop in and say hello.
