Rock
River
Chapter,
on
another
successful
Breast
Cancer
Weekend!!
Cooler
weather
and
a
chance
of
rain
didn't
keep
the
dedicated
away
last
weekend,
for
RRC's
15th
Annual
Breast
Cancer
weekend!
An
estimated
1,500
guests
came
with
smiles,
warm
hearts
and
enough
pink
to
brighten
up
all
involved.
On
Friday
night
there
were
approximately
90
bikes
in
the
Survivor
ride
(while
raining)
and
those
who
participated
really
enjoyed
it.
Community
support
was
evidence
by
the
pink
balloons
and
breast
cancer
ribbons
displayed
in
store
windows.
The
loud
cheering
from
the
on-lookers
was
heart-warming
for
the
survivors.
Later
on
that
evening,
at
Olympia
Resort,
about
675
guests
gathered
to
preview
the
fishbowl
and
auction
items
as
well
as
purchase
merchandise,
while
enjoying
the
music
of
Country
Storm.
Friday
evening
generated
over
$89,000.
On
Saturday
at
Wisconsin
Harley-Davidson,
there
was
an
estimated
975
bikes
on
11
different
rides,
including
the
first
ALL
PINK
RIDE.
Although
down
a
bit
from
last
year,
given
the
uncertain
weater,
this
was
great!
Ending
the
ride
at
Olympia,
all
who
attended
enjoyed
fantastic
food,
and
entertainment,
as
well
as
friendly
conversation.
As
usual
the
program
was
very
emotional
and
educational.
