---Octoberfest Used Bike Specials---

1985 BMW K100RS

SALE $3199, 38,924 miles, Super Clean low mileage example of this bullet proof sport tourer.
2001 BMW R 1200 C Stilletto

$7,499.00, 10,505 miles, It’d be downright disrespectful (not to mention wrong) to call BMW’s R 1200 C just a cruiser. No cruiser you’ve been on handles with this much precision. Fuel-injection technology and sheer brute force pump out 71 lb.-ft. of torque. An agile antidive Telelever front suspension soaks up the bumps. While antilock brakes deliver quick, controlled stopping power. It’s more than just a cruiser. A lot more. And you’ve got to respect that.
2008 Triumph Daytona 675 Special Edition

$7,899.00, 776 miles, Lean machine.

As the first three-cylinder super sports middleweight, the Daytona 675 is a force to be reckoned with in the most hotly contested arena in motorcycling. The Daytona 675 has won countless comparison tests and for the past two years has taken both the MasterBike and Supertest ''King of the Supersport'' crowns. With its exciting, powerful engine and intuitive, razor sharp chassis the Daytona 675 has reinvented the supersports middleweight map. The Daytona IS incomparable.

For 2008, Triumph is offering a Special Edition version of the awesome Daytona 675. This model features a sultry Phantom Black paint scheme offset stunningly by gold finished wheels and gold colored decals. Completing the picture for a sleek overall look are black engine covers.

2001 Triumph Sprint ST

$3,999.00, 31,145 miles, The Sprint ST sport-tourer was introduced to worldwide acclaim for its astonishing abilities in a whole range of riding conditions and activities. Behind all the praise is the ST's ability to be both a sharp-steering, powerful sports bike and an accomplished long-distance tourer.

The liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine is derived from Triumph's Daytona 955i, but tuned to produce 110 PS (108 bhp) with an even broader spread of torque. Touring is more relaxed and effortless, while sports riders can still appreciate the dramatic acceleration at lower revs, especially on the exits of corners.

Right the first time! Triumph's sports-tourer stormed to the head of its class the moment it was released

We have a Thunderbird DEMO!!! Come by and take a spin on the latest & greatest bike from Triumph.

Fall Riding Maintenance Tips
Fall Riding Maintenance Tips

For your fall riding, the bike will most likely sit for longer intervals than it has all summer. Checking the simple items will help you enjoy your machine when you do take the opportunity to go for a ride.

Ask the Service Department or Parts Department for compatible fuel additives and battery tenders or chargers.

Battery; is it fully charged, full of fluid? Do you know how old it is and what the expected life span is? Keeping your bike on a proper maintenance charger will help you get the most useful life from your motorcycle battery.

Tires; is the tread depth safe or are you riding into the tread wear-bars? When was the last time you looked at the sidewalls for cracks? Do you know how old the tire is, what is the DOT date? And did you check the pressures before your ride?

Brakes; is there adequate brake pad material? Are the rotors or drums in good condition or are they grooved, damaged, or rusted? Replace any worn or damaged components.

Brake fluid; when was that last brake fluid flush performed? Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time. This moisture will damage components and reduce brake fluid effectiveness. At a minimum, follow the manufacturers brake fluid change recommendations. If you ride aggressively, more frequent fluid changes will be recommended.

Final drive, chain, sprockets, belts; Visually inspect for leaks and damage. Check for correct adjustment and loose fasteners. What is the expected life span of these components? Check what the manufacturer recommends for service or replacement intervals.

Engine oil, transmission oil, final drive oil; is it at the proper level? When was the last time you changed the oils and filter? Are you using the correct type and weight of oil for your machine?

Fuel; do you have enough fuel? Since the bike will be sitting for longer periods of time the stability of modern fuel becomes questionable. This dealership has tested fuels containing alcohol contents ranging from 5% to over 30% %! Elevated alcohol (Ethanol) mixtures can damage components and the manufactures will not cover this damage under warranty. Have you been using a fuel additive in a regular basis? Use of correct additives will add lubricating qualities and corrosion preventative qualities that will help protect your expensive fuel system.

As our riding opportunities become less frequent due to weather changes, performing these simple checks will help to make those rides safer and more enjoyable. All you want to do that day is unplug your battery tender, suit up, and go for a ride!
