Tips to Successful Financing
Getting your financing through the bank can be helped with these tips
Financing As you may or may not be aware, in this economy, it can be difficult to get financed. A F&I consultancy Reahard & Associates has a few tips and pointers to make sure that you qualify to purchase a new vehicle.
1. A customer living at the same address for one year, six months gets three more points than a customer living at the same address for one year, seven months. But if employees don’t try to get precise answers, customers are likely to round down and lose the points.
2. Similarly, customers need to be precise when reporting how long they’ve had their job.
3. If they answer “no” to whether they have a “home phone” because they have a cell phone only, they lose 10 points instead of gaining seven, even though cell phones are perfectly acceptable as a home phone.
4. If customers don’t have a bank account for some reason (a major point deduction), Ethington suggested spending $20 to open one for them.
5. Accuracy with the occupation code is also important with this particular scorecard. A registered nurse scores higher than a nurse without qualification.
6. Finally, just a modest increase in the down payment can make or break a deal.
These simple tips can help anyone get financed in the office and get riding on the road. For any questions about financial qualifications, call (602) 973-5111. Or you can E-mail us at: mike@apachehonda.com Motocross

Winterizing your PWC
Winter is coming...
Techtips When the summer heat starts to cool off, and the weather outside gets chilly, it's important to take proper care of your watercraft to make sure it is in shape for when the water gets warmer and it's time to ride the waves again. Below are a few pointers so that you can personally winterize your watercraft and keep it nice for next summer. (be sure to read your owner's manual and all product instructions for proper safety and maintenance information.)
1. Drain the Engine: The first thing you want to do when you take your PWC out of the water is to drain the water from the engine. The easiest place to do this is right at the loading dock after your ride. Simply start the engine for a few times for no more than 30 seconds. While the engine is running, turn the handle back and forth to drain any excess water out from the engine.
2. Clean it up: Wash down the exterior of the craft the same way you would a car, making sure that the entire craft is free of water-spots and algae. When finished, make sure there is no water in the hull, and that both the interior and exterior are completely dry.
3. Gas it up: Fill up the gas tank to prevent condensation over the storing period. Mix the fuel with an appropriate amount of gas stabilizer to prevent the gas from getting gummy. Start the engine a few times for no more than 30 seconds to drain any excess water and to allow the stabilizer to work its way through the engine.
4. Oil it: Take off the air cleaners, start the engine and spray fogging oil into the carburetors until the engine stalls. Remove the spark plugs and check to see that the wires are grounded. Spray the fogging oil for a few seconds into each hole. Cover the holes with a rag and push the Jet Ski's start button allowing the oil to spread internally. The engine will not start when the start button is pushed. Clean the area of any oil that may have dripped and put the spark plugs back into the holes.
5. Remove the battery: Check your battery chargers for safety instructions. Remove the battery by first disconnecting the negative terminal followed by the positive terminal. Store the battery in a warm place such as a garage. If the case is older, place the battery on a rubber mate for storage. Placing an older battery on concrete may cause it to discharge. Attach the battery to a trickle charger and remember to check the battery water level every month throughout the storage period.
6. Storage: Prevent flat or damaged tires by removing them and storing them indoors. Set the trailer on cement blocks or jacks for the winter, making sure it is level. Place a rag or steel wool into the exhaust to stop any animals or bugs from using it as a nesting spot. Put the cover on the jet ski to protect it and keep it clean during the winter
These simple instructions can extend the life of your PWC if you have any questions about winterizing PWC or any other service inquiry call (602)973-5111. You can also E-mail us at:Service@apachehonda.com

Yamaha OHV Access Initiative Tops $1 Million
Keep your riding areas open and safe!

Yamaha

 ATV

Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A., through its OHV Access Initiative, has provided more than $1 million in critical funding for OHV projects across the country. In less than two years, more than 100 Yamaha GRANTs (Guaranteeing Responsible Access to our Nation's Trails) have been given to local, state and national organizations that are leading efforts to support safe, responsible OHV riding and sustainable, open riding areas.
Programs receiving GRANTs historically incorporate projects that directly impact specific trails, such as trail construction and maintenance, safety patrols, mapping and trail signage, as well as projects that address OHV usage on a broader scale -like educational and land stewardship campaigns, and legislative or legal efforts supporting responsible OHV access to public lands.

"Yamaha is leading national and local efforts to promote safe, responsible riding and open, sustainable riding areas, and reaching this $1 million milestone is symbolic of our commitment," says Mike Martinez, Yamaha's general manager of ATV and side-by-side operations. "Together with our GRANT recipients, we recommit to these efforts each time an approved OHV project is funded and completed. Through the OHV Access Initiative, Yamaha will to continue to provide vital resources to the OHV community for many years to come."

GRANT funded projects span the country from New York to California, Florida to Oregon. A complete list of GRANT recipients can be found at yamaha-motor.com

New 2010 Kawasaki Teryx
The Best Sport-utility vehicle on the Market

Teryx

New 2010 Kawasaki TERYX™ 750 FI 4x4 The Teryx™ 750 FI 4x4’s powerful fuel-injected V-twin engine and sport-tuned wide-body chassis were already at the front of the Recreational Utility Vehicle pack.
For 2010, an aggressive new front end with a hinged, forward-tilting hood offers front suspension and cooling system access and eases maintenance. Upgrades to the mighty V-twin’s cooling system enhance long-term reliability, and an even sturdier tilting cargo bed out back provides extra durability. In addition, a host of detail improvements for more efficient production and vehicle longevity are designed to do what Kawasaki has always done: keep the performance high while keeping the bottom line low. Visit ApacheMotorecycles.com for complete information on the new 2010 Kawasaki TERYX 750 FI 4x4
