Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for living in our Free Country, spending quality time with family, friends, and loved ones. Here at Renegade it means much more. Please take a moment to get to know us a little better.

Here’s what some of us say...

Sean French, P&A Mgr; I’m thankful for the Lord blessing me with my Savior Jesus, the health of my children, my wonderful wife, my mother, my father and family. I’m thankful for my friends, co-workers and the owners of Renegade. I’m thankful God has given me a second chance at life with sacrifice of My Savior. I’m thankful for the gift of my children and how every day they teach me something new about patience, love and seeing the world through a child’s eyes again. I’m thankful for my wife; she is the glue that holds our family together. She is often overworked, tired from studying for her RN classes and taking the children to after-school activities. I’m thankful for my mother and father, making sure as a child I always had what I needed; love. I remember my mother working two jobs and my father is still one of the most brilliant men I’ve known. He taught me how to take care of a family with very little means. I’m thankful for my friends because no matter how many times I’ve been down they always lift me up. I’m thankful for my co-workers because they care how your days going or if one of your children are sick. I’m thankful for our dealership providing us with jobs to support our families. There have been times that we heard businesses are laying off employees but the owners of Renegade have not let anyone go. They have found other ways of cutting back so as to not lay any of their employees off.

I want to add one more person to my list and that is Johnnie Davis. I thank God for allowing me the opportunity to know and spend time with Mr. Johnnie. He showed me and many others how to be a child of God. His love for everyone was endless and he showed it every day by lending a helping hand or word of encouragement. “It’s all going to be alright” I’m truly blessed! We can always think about what we don’t have, it’s time to start being thankful for what we do have!

God Bless

Nicky Tyson, Service Writer; I am thankful for the opportunity that has been given to me. Working at Renegade has reminded me of how much fun work can be! The people that come in to Renegade are my friends, not my customers. Also, I am thankful for the freedoms we have that allow us to live in a country of choice. Most of all, I am thankful for all of that that have given their lives for that freedom.

Gary Rodden Davis, Tech in Service; I am thankful for many things and just to name a few, I am thankful for being so blessed. Our Heavenly Father seems to bless me every day! He has blessed me with a wonderful, loving family which I am so proud of. Even the people here at Renegade, they are my family too and I am thankful for that. Here they instill in us that customer satisfaction is #1. It’s the same idea my grandfather, “Johnnie Davis” has instilled in me all my life. It is a great honor to be part of Renegade. I am thankful to be part of this great family.

Thank-you

Jim Buckles, Rider’s Edge Mgr; Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on family and to be thankful for all we have. I have been blessed with the honor of serving my country in the Army for 24 years and have acquired many brothers and sisters from serving. Now that I am retired and working at Renegade H-D, my extended family is growing even larger. We should all be thankful for the people who provide us with the luxury of being able to ‘ride free.’

Jessica Collins, Assistant Motorclothes Mgr; Working at Renegade during the holiday season is so exciting and emotional. Exciting because I look forward to and enjoy helping customers and co-workers shop for their families and hear about what they’re doing for Thanksgiving and Christmas! It’s emotional for me because we have a lot of military who are stationed here at Ft. Polk telling stories about how they’re not going to spend the holidays with their families. They’re fighting for our freedom and what we stand for. I’m so thankful I don’t have to go away to some strange place and be out of my comfort zone and lonely. I’m thankful I get to spend the holiday season with my family and friends.

Jacob Edwards, Motorcycle Sales; Thanksgiving has come a long way since the time of the Pilgrims and Indians. Today, it’s an opportunity to get the family together, watch football, and feast on turkey, stuffing, cranberries, and pumpkin pie. Sure, we know that you’re thankful when your favorite team wins the big game “Go Saints”, but do you really take the time to verbalize your gratitude for bigger things? Do you tell your loved ones how much they mean to you? Take advantage of this ‘holiday’ because one never knows when it might be his last. So cherish every day, that’s what Thanksgiving means to me.

Bryan Strothers, Lot Mgr; This is a good time to reflect on our past and future. Every year I think of good things in my life and the bad things that have happened. But then I always remember that no matter how bad life is; it seems someone has it worst than I. So, I am thankful of what I do have in life. Yes, I am thankful for; working in a rough economy, being healthy to work, living in a free country, having supportive family and friends. And yes, the parents or people that may not be here today, but raised us. We should all take a moment to be thankful for Life & Liberty!

Matt Douzart , Assistant E-Comm Mgr; Ah, November 26, it’s one of the best days of the year. Why may you ask? Duh, there’s a turkey involved? But really, it’s a day where Uncle Joe comes over and just sits in the chair, Aunt Claire brings her dessert that everyone eats but doesn’t have the heart to tell her it’s not too tasty! Mom’s putting out the turkey fire, dad is watching the game with Uncle Joe, grandparents are sacked out in their chairs, and all the kids are outside getting dirty! It has been a tough year for all of us but Thanksgiving is one of those few days where we can sit down and forget about everything. It is also a time to start looking forward to the New Year. One more thing, as we bow our heads to say grace this season, remember to include our troops. They are our brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers fighting for our freedom overseas. If it wasn’t for them, well who knows. God Bless everyone this Thanksgiving and more to come.

Friends, Customers, Family, Whatever your reason to be Thankful this year, please do it with goodness and love in your heart. Raise others up with positive words and kind gestures when it seems their ‘Angel Wings’ have been clipped. Remember those less fortunate in our own country, and around the world. Remember and pray for the safety of our Military serving in all corners of the world, especially in Afghanistan and Iraq.

We have so much to be Thankful for, we really do. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at Renegade … and Eddy and Kate
