December 2009 Newsletter

The Director's Minute

Parting Thoughts From The Director:
Greetings Friends,
The year is just about over and time to reflect on 2009. It has been a good year despite some of the weather cancellations we had. There was an awful hot experience in Oklahoma City, a great State Rally in St Charles, Dinner Rides, great adventures and great friends to share it with, a celebration of our sponsor providing 11 years of Riding and Having Fun and of course the fantastic time in Marble Falls, AR. We can only hope that the coming year will provide as much or more Riding and Having Fun as this year.
Congratulations to the 2010 chapter officers. They have a rewarding job ahead of themselves. I know they will do fantastic things for our chapter. Support them as you have supported this year’s officers.
Sadly, this will be my last addition to the newsletter as your Director. It is a bitter sweet moment for me. I have truly enjoyed being your Director for the past four years. Challenging and rewarding all at the same time. I have looked forward to communicating with all of you monthly in the newsletter and I hope that you have looked forward to reading it. I have looked forward to seeing each of you at our gatherings, rides and events. There is nothing more fun that to connect with those of a like mind. We all have at least one thing in common and that is our love for our Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Talking with you about your bike and the travels it has taken you on has been the highlight of my time as the Director. The chapter has grown in size and shape in the past four years and those responsible for that are the officers and our sponsor. We could not have achieved all we have without the dedicated support of all the officers, volunteers and our sponsor. I cannot name them all, but you know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Let me leave you with this. The Ozark Mountain Chapter of Lebanon is what you make of it. Have fun, meet new lifelong friends, take interesting adventures and ride like the wind.
Our next gathering is January 17th, at T’s Redneck Steakhouse at 11am.

See ya at the Christmas Party.

May The Force Be With You,
Peace Out,
Yoda
