think
that
since
we
live
in
Florida
(or
Georgia),
we
don't
need
to
"winterize"
our
personal
watercrafts.
However,
simply
letting
your
watercraft
sit
for
a
few
months
is
just
as
detrimental
as
the
cold
weather.
So,what
IS
winterization?
Winterization
is
simply
preventing
corrosion
and
build-up,
and
preserving
the
electrical
components
by
performing
a
few
quick
services.
In
addition,
any
failures
due
to
improper
storing
will
NOT
be
covered
by
warranty
or
the
insurance
company.
These
failures
are
considered
neglect
and
turned
back
on
the
owner.
Having
a
technician
perform
a
winterization
will
save
you
money
in
the
long
run
and
ensure
the
longevity
of
your
watercraft.
A
few

performed
are:
-Jet
Pump
Clearning:
Making
sure
water
has
not
stuck
inside
crucial
areas
-Fuel
System
Check
and
Stabilizing
Fuel:
Letting
any
untreated,
left-over
fuel
sit
in
your
craft

up

fuel
system

out
any
residual
water
left
in
key
internal
engine
areas
