Established
in
1987,
the
Southern
Tier,
NY
Chapter
of
the
Harley
Owners
Group
has
seen
countless
miles
of
memories
under
the
guiding
principle
that
the
Chapter
is
about
friendship,
riding
and
promoting
motorcycling
in
a
positive
way.
Co-sponsored
by
Gowanda
Harley-Davidson
and
Harley-Davidson
of
Jamestown,
the
dealerships
have
become
clubhouses
for
those
who
are
passionate
about
riding,
H.O.G.
and
Harley-Davidson
motorcycles.
Over
time,
the
Chapter
has
grown
to
over
200
strong
stretching
from
Buffalo
to
Bradford.
Through
recent
membership
surveys,
time
and
distance
have
become
an
increasing
concern.
The
elected
body
of
Primary
Chapter
Officers,
together
with
John
Reid
and
David
Reid,
Presidents
of
their
respective
dealerships,
have
called
a
series
of
Roadside
Meetings
to
re-route
and
establish
two
new
H.O.G.
Chapters.
Through
localizing
our
efforts
around
each
dealership,
our
goal
is
to
better
serve
you,
the
dedicated
Harley-Davidson
owners,
by
providing
you
with
more
opportunities
to
meet
new
friends
and
ride.
Given
the
Chapter's
27
year
history
and
close
friendships,
we
understand
the
difficulty
of
these
decisions.

host
the
second,
and
final,
meeting
on
this
topic
next
Thursday
(Dec.
10,
2009)
at
7:00pm.
We
