figure
-

brass
were
concerned
over
sparking
political
controversy
by
releasing
a
200bhp
road
bike.
The
new
figure
proves
that
BMW
has
understated
the
true
power
of
the
engine.
The
183bhp,
EEC-corrected
figure
is
a
full
13bhp
more
than
a
Kawasaki
ZX-10R
MCN
has
tested
on
the
same
dynamometer
-
and
Kawasaki
press
bikes
are
notorious
for
making
more
power
than
customer
bikes.
The
current
class-leading
Yamaha
YZF-R1
makes
155bhp
-
28bhp
