CHARLOTTE
WINS
BEST
EXTERIOR
DESIGN

| Spring
2010
Brings
A
Renewed
Commitment
To
America's
First
&
Newest
Motorcycle
Brand
|
|
We've
always
believed
that
hard
work
eventually
pays
off.
For
most
of
us
in
this
industry,
last
year
is
one
we'd
just
as
soon
forget,
with
many
of
our
customers
and
friends
struggling
to
make
ends
meet.
At
the
same
time,
we
tried
to
see
it
as
an
opportunity
for
us
to
reaffirm
our
commitment
to
excellence.
Our
sales
were
the
strongest
of
any
Indian
dealer
in
the
world
and
our
entire
staff
embraced
and
focused
on
the
concept
of
continual
improvement.
We're
working
hard
to
be
the
only
motorcycle
dealer
you'll
ever
need.
Even
though
it
was
a
chilly
18º
in
Indianapolis
last
month,
we
were
thrilled
to
be
there
in
person
to
receive
the
BEST
EXTERIOR
DESIGN
AWARD
in
addition
to
our
TOP
100
AWARD
from
Dealernews
magazine.
This
recognition
by
our
peers
has
helped
buoy
our
spirits
and
with
Spring
on
the
way,
convinced
us
that
much
better
days
are
ahead
for
all
motorcycle
dealers
and
riders.
We
plan
to
be
at
Daytona
for
Speedweek,
hoping
that
the
temperatures
and
attendance
will
start
their
climb.
March
21
is
the
first
official
full
day
of
the
new
season
and
it
can't
get
here
too
soon.
What
a
winter--like
other
dealers
in
the
South,
we
actually
closed
because
of
snow
and
ice
this
year.
Finally,
we
want
you
to
know
that
we
now
have
fewer
than
a
dozen
spectacular
new
2009
Indian
Chiefs,
ready
to
ride.
We
are
offering
some
truly
incredible
deals
on
these
renaissance
model
Indians,
too
outrageous
to
publicize.
So
give
me
a
call
at
888-600-INDIAN
and
I'd
be
happy
to
discuss
how
we
can
make
your
dream
come
true
for
a
lot
less
than
you
imagine.
What
a
great
way
to
start
the
season--on
your
new
Indian
Chief!
Like
I've
said
many
times
before,
"once
you
get
your
hands
on
an
Indian
Chief,
you'll
never
let
go!"
Hope
to
see
you
soon,
Mark

THE
2010
MOTORCYCLE
CANNONBALL
|
| Indian
Motorcycle
Charlotte
Is
Proud
To
Sponsor
|
|
The
Motorcycle
Cannonball
is
named
after
the
famed
Erwin
“Cannonball”
Baker,
who
set
143
driving
records
from
1910
through
the
1930’s.
This
year's
event
dares
contestants
to
match
the
records
set
by
men
like
Baker.
Setting
his
first
record
on
an
Indian
motorcycle
in
1914,
Cannonball
made
the
coast-to-coast
ride
in
11
days.
For
the
2010
ride,
only
motorcycles
built
prior
to
1916
are
eligible
for
this
historic
coast-to-coast
event.
No
doubt
many
of
the
same
challenges
that
concerned
our
brave
forefathers
will
face
this
year's
riders:
gas
availability,
machine
performance
and
physical
strength.
Nothing
can
be
taken
for
granted
as
the
modern-day
riders
measure
themselves
against
our
country’s
most
beloved
and
respected
motorcycling
ancestors.
The
Motorcycle
Cannonball
will
start
on
September
10
at
Kitty
Hawk,
North
Carolina
and
end
September
26
at
Santa
Monica,
California,
covering
3,325
miles.
Indian
Motorcycle
Charlotte
is
very
pleased
to
be
sponsoring
Jim
Petty
of
Seneca,
SC
and
his
1915
Indian
for
the
2010
Motorcycle
Cannonball
Run.
(And
no,
that's
not
Jim
