So,
its
the
begining
of
the
month,
and
I'm
doing
what
every
other
Harley
enthusiast
is
doing.
I'm
taking
the
Thunder
Press
into
the
reading
room.
While
I'm
perusing
the
pages,
what
do
I
see?
A
competitors
ad
stating
that
they
are
the
ONLY
dealer
left
on
I-80.
WHAT??.
So,
I
finish
my
read
and
head
out
with
a
camera,
to
the
front
of
our
dealership,
along
with
Tony
from
our
"Only
Remaining
H-D
Authorized
Service
Department
Left
on
I-80",
and
have
him
snap
this
picture.

Notice
that
is
INTERSTATE
80,
and
not
80
lane,
or
Country
Rd
80,
or
the
Elvas
Fwy
(which
was
renamed
business
80). |

So
I
get
curious
as
to
what
map
are
these
guys
using
to
determine
this.
Using
the
internet,
I
look
them
up.
(They
are
that
little
"A"
flag
in
the
center
of
that
MAZE
of
city
streets).
I've
zoomed
way
out,
and
I
Still
don't
see
I-80
on
the
map
there.
Check
it
our
for
yourselves.
This
is
no
photoshop
magic.
Yes,
I
conceed,
they
are
near
Business
Route
80,
but
they
are
Drumroll....
5.3
miles
away
from
I-80
Now,
It
would
only
be
a
fair
comparison
to
include
our
google
map
as
well,
but
when
I
zoom
out
to
the
same
level
as
this
map,
you
can't
tell
whether
or
not
we're
actually
in
the
middle
of
the
freeway,
or
beside
it.

I
went
out
onto
our
balcony
and
took
a
quick
picture.
I've
inlaid
a
close
up
so
you
could
see
a
little
better.
Those
cars
I
circled,
are
on
I-80,
heading
east.
You
can
see
the
guard
rail,
and
even
see
that
the
left
most
vehicle
has
his
left
turn
signal
on.
Now
we're
not
close
enough
that
I
can
tell
you
what
color
the
lady's
eyes
are
as
she
drives
that
white
explorer,
but
she
was
blonde.
So,
I
ask
everyone
to
maybe
educate
our
neighbors
and
to
invite
their
friends
on
down
to
the
only
California
Harley-Davidson
Dealership
on
I-80.
