Bay
Area
DART
in
Action
The
Big
Rig
is
on
its
way
to
Meridian,
Louisiana.
Having
received
an
emergency
call
from
the
Humane
Society,
Laura
and
JT
packed
up
the
Big
Rig
and
headed
out
early
this
am.
They
will
be
picking
up
19
survivors
from
a
puppy
mill
and
14
refugees
from
a
hoarding
situation.
Hoarders
start
with
the
best
of
intentions
when
they
begin
taking
in
homeless
dogs
and
cats.
Unfortunately
they
are
so
taken
with
the
mission
that
they
soon
find
themselves
overburdened
and
unable
to
provide
proper
care
for
their
accumulated
wards.
Then
animal
services
personnel
must
step
in
and
save
the
animals
from
these
well
meaning
people.
The
animals
will
arrive
at
Fletcher’s
South
Thursday
morning
and
will
be
met
by
various
bay
area
rescue
groups.
They
will
be
distributed
to
these
groups
for
care
and
hopefully
adoption.
If
you
are
interested,
we
invite
you
to
join
us
at
Fletcher’s
South,
corner
of
Whitney
Rd.
and
US
19
Frontage
Rd,
on
Thursday
morning,
March
25,
and
