KEVIN
FENN:
Motorcycling
for
me
is
a
passion.
It’s
a
hard
thing
to
explain,
but
motorcyclists,
birds
and
dogs
are
the
only
ones
who
really
get
it.
Back
in
1991
Charlene
and
I
were
afforded
the
opportunity
to
move
to
Texas.
I
completed
my
out
routine
from
the
army
and
sold
my
pride
and
joy
back
then
(my
CBR-1000)
to
finance
the
move
to
Texas.
After
10
years
away
from
the
hobby/lifestyle
I
got
back
in
with
both
feet
purchasing
a
Dyna-Wide
Glide.
I
currently
ride
a
2004
Screaming
Eagle
Electra-Glide.
Any
weekend
that
you
do
not
find
me
on
the
training
range
riding
around
in
little
circles,
squares
or
ovals,
you’ll
find
Charlene
and
I
touring
around
the
back
roads
of
Texas.
We
both
live
to
ride
and
plan
many
of
our
vacations
and
weekends
around
it.
Just
ask
the
dealership,
when
it
was
time
for
me
to
go
to
Milwaukee
for
my
Rider’s
Edge
Instructor
Training,
they
were
thinking
airfare…….and
I
was
mapping
out
the
best
route
for
a
road
trip.
I
am
a
current
member
(and
retired
officer)
of
the
Republic
HOG
Chapter,
which
serves
as
a
great
way
to
meet
folks,
have
fun
and
ride!

I
enjoy
teaching
the
New
Rider’s
Course,
The
Skilled
Rider’s
Course,
and
the
Group
Riding
Course.
At
Republic
we
strive
to
make
it
a
fun
learning
environment
that
is
full
of
challenge,
all
the
while
maintaining
safety
as
the
primary
concern,
keeping
it
low
threat.
Trust

CHARLENE
FENN:
I
never
imagined
that
motorcycling
would
become
my
life
and
my
passion.
When
my
husband
Kevin
and
I
were
dating,
I
couldn’t
get
enough
of
being
with
him
on
the
back
of
his
motorcycle.
After
moving
here
to
Texas
from
East
Coast
Canada
in
1991
and
10
more
years
without
a
motorcycle,
we
were
elated
when
we
brought
home
Kevin’s
1st
Harley.
Three
months
later,
I
had
seen
enough
ladies
riding
their
own,
so
I
decided
that
I
just
had
to
learn.
I
took
a
riding
course,
and
never
looked
back.
My
first
“baby”
was
a
2000
Buell
Blast,
then
5
months
and
almost
8000
miles
later
it
grew
up
to
be
a
2001
Dyna
Low
Rider.
Then
my
heart
stopped
when
I
saw
the
new
Softail
Deluxe
and
between
the
3
bikes
I’ve
logged
almost
50,000
miles.
Some
people
wonder
why
I
once
took
a
solo
day
trip
to
Memphis,
TN.
My
answer
–
For
the
ribs!!
Kevin
and
I
are
always
thinking
about
our
next
big
trip.
There
is
nothing
more
relaxing
and
enjoyable
than
spending
all
day
finding
roads
that
lead
nowhere.
When
great
curves
and
twists
lead
you
to
small
towns
you’ve
never
heard
of
before
and
you
wonder
if
you
can
find
your
way
home.

given
me
a
very
fortunate
opportunity
to
enable
others
the
chance

I
can’t
believe
it
is
spring

Our
busy
riding
season

getting

additional
technicians

equipment

keep
up

growing
demands

We
currently

eleven
technicians
and
seven
of
those
are
Master
technicians
with
two
being
Masters
of
technology.
I
am
very
proud
of
our
staff
and
invite
